Despite arriving at the Cart Lodge the day after storm Eunice we quickly settled into a week of relaxation at an excellent location. Gill & David made us very welcome & we appreciated the lemon drizzle cake which was yummy. The Cart Lodge was very comfortable, dog friendly ( e.g. the enclosure to let dogs run around safely) & we especially enjoyed the under floor heating. Thanks too for arranging for us to meet the four Alpacas during our stay. Overall a wonderful week at the Cart Lodge, highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our stay in the Cart Lodge with our two dogs. The property was perfect for us, very comfortable, cosy but plenty of space, immaculately clean & we had everything we needed (loved the underfloor heating throughout!!). There was an enclosed paddock for our dogs to run around in and plenty of walks on the doorstep. We went to a dog friendly beach which was around 20 minutes drive away, it was only dog walkers on there and was perfect to let them off for a run. We can’t wait to come back for another stay!

Accommodation so comfortable and stylish. Lovely quiet location with handy dog exercise paddock and walks straight from the door to quaint Great Massingham which is a gorgeous village with duck ponds and a lovely pub. Handy drive to the coast . Owners so friendly and helpful. Came round with torches when we had a brief power cut in a storm. Lovely touches when we arrived, fresh flowers and a home made cake. Property beautifully clean and well equipped, with helpful literature and walks. Could not fault our stay.

A lovely cottage, set just on the outskirts of a quiet villiage. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you need. Very High standards through out the cottage. The owners are very friendly and helpful. A perfect place to go walking or just relax sitting outside the cottage. Where you will find a table, two chairs and a parasol. The experience of walking the alpacas was great. I will definitely stay there again.

I just wanted to say what a wonderful time we all had at the Cart Lodge. The accommodation was excellent and the owners very helpful and pleasant - always on hand without intruding. We were looking for a weekend where we could all relax and get away from it all and we certainly managed this at the Cart Lodge. We were welcomed upon arrival and shown around the cottage and even given a lovely cake to welcome us! We really enjoyed feeding the alpacas on the last morning too. All in all, superb accommodation, lovely owners, fantastic welcome (even milk in the fridge!) and we were sad to leave. We will definitely be returning!

Gill and David are absolutely lovely and couldn't be more helpful. The cottage was really comfortable and had a high standard of fixtures and fittings. The walks just from the door were full of the local wildlife including hares, game birds, owls and deer. I also spent a fantastic morning with Gill feeding her adorable Alpaca. We really didn't want to come home.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Cart Lodge - it was spacious and well equipped for our family of four (kids are 6 yrs and 4 yrs). Our kids absolutely loved visiting the alpacas every evening in the field behind the cottage! Gill and Dave are really friendly - they live in the b and b next to the cottage and are on hand for any advice for days out etc but you have complete privacy in the cottage and a bit of outdoor space for the kids to run about on right in front. We had a lovely few days exploring great beaches (Wells and Old Hunstanton are not too far away) as well as castles and national trust places. A great place to recharge your batteries!
