We had a wonderful lakeside visit!

This house is very well maintained and stocked for any cooking you would want to do! The view of the lake is beautiful! We will be back next year!

The property is listed as 5 bedrooms; however, it is 4 bedrooms. There is a living room & a separate family room, each equipped with a pull-out couch, but neither is considered a bedroom.The private dock was very disappointing. The photographs provided do not accurately reflect its current condition; they are outdated, possibly taken when the property was first purchased. The location & dock were primary reasons for choosing this property as a family getaway.There were 2 written regulations displayed on the tv. Rule 10 states, No more than 8 adults on the deck at any given time. No group pictures while on deck. Although the deck is large, it was unclear why the limit was set at 8 adults. The private dock & ramp, however, should have had restrictive guidelines, as it felt unsafe. I only allowed 4 people on it at once due to the condition. The master bed was extremely uncomfortable, causing discomfort for several days. While bedding preferences vary, this mattress was very firm—so much so that I found the couch to be more comfortable. The 3rd bedroom lacked curtains, requiring my family to use towels to block out the morning sunlight. This room’s mattress was overly soft, with two people sinking into the center, resulting in them opting to sleep on the couch instead.On a positive note, the property offered a beautiful view of the lake & was situated in a quiet area. Kim is very quick to respond. With updates, this will be a wonderful place to stay.

This is a wonderful location and it does sleep up to 12 people. Although it sleeps up to 12 people only eight are allowed on the deck at one time. The beds are terribly hard and uncomfortable, and the floors were filthy and the island countertop was sticky and had to be cleaned. Two chairs on the deck were broken, and the tables were very flimsy and the tops were made of glass making it very dangerous. The dock was incredibly unsafe for anyone and very flimsy, so I would discourage any elderly people using the dock. It definitely needs work to be done on that which the owner stated would be done in the winter. It was a very beautiful lake and very clean.

Have stayed in many lakeside places and we will not be returning. back porch was very dirty, tables dirty, grill dirty. Kitchen sink needs replaced as using it is very messy. master bed is terribly uncomfortable. floating dock is in bad shape and needs to be replaced, we almost fell off it several times. back deck was unusable (from a peace and quiet perspective) for last 2 days of the stay as the septic tank overflowed in the house next door which meant heavy equipment noise to add to your view of the lake. when i notified the owner, the first thing she said was to give me the link to THAT house and suggest we rent it. I was floored. Our check out was Sunday morning and she offered us to check out late that day (as late as we wanted), which was nice, but I would have rather had a credit on 1 night stay to be honest. And please just replace both coffee makers which are crap with two new ones instead of leaving printed instructions on how to use the one that is so confusing we flooded water all over our breakfast. In terms of all the houses I have rented on various lakes - this was not terrible. I would say it was MEH. We won't be returning.

We have stayed here several times over the last several years. The house is spacious and accommodated our large family. We will definitely book this house again.

This was such a nice home with direct access to the lake. The owner was very nice and responded to questions we had very quickly. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Our family came in to East Tennessee to visit other family that live in Morristown. The accommodations were great.

Host was very nice. House was clean and comfortable, and the lake views were great. Short (15 min) drive to Morristown restaurants and amenities.

Gas grill did not work upon arrival....after 12 driving on the road...finally got settled after 8pm...could not grill...tired, hungry...response time for manager to get someone down to find out starter on grill broken (should have been fixed before we arrived)..over an hour...way after 9pm by then....unpacking....found clothes from previous people in dresser...augh!!!!!! TV in master bedroom never worked correctly...had to play with tht every night...augh

Our family stayed here this week, I have never stayed in a place that was so stocked up with everything! The kitchen had so many pots, pans ect. It was dry clean when we arrived. The view and access to the lake is amazing! I would recommend this place, we will be back! Connie

This is the second time we have stayed at this house. We had a great week. The house is clean and has everything you need. We look forward to booking again.

The Lakehouse was a wonderful get away. The house is laid out great for families and groups. There’s plenty of space and room to stretch out. The porch was where we spent most of our time. The kitchen has necessities for cooking and was well stocked with plates/utensils. The view out to the lake was breath taking and hard to leave. We had an issue with the dock, but the owner answered quickly and had it fixed the next day. A couple of things to note if traveling with young children. The garden tub is beautiful, but difficult to bathe small toddlers in. The walls of the house are thin, so keep this in mind when selecting what room to use for children. The walk down to the dock is not too steep and our toddler did great with it. The house is so close to German Creek marina and makes for an easy trip to the boat rental.
