THE LAKE HOUSE AT KNOB HILL

We recently had an amazing stay at the Lake House at Knob Hill. The private access to the lake was great. No crowds or hassle, just a relaxing time on the lake. We used the kayaks and canoes provided by the hosts. The neighbors next door were friendly. Plenty of amenities provided by the hosts. Great communication from them as well. We'll definitely be back!

We came to the area for business. We do not enjoy congested city life. We were amazed at how peaceful our stay was here. Very nice views of the lake. We will be back. Thank you

We had a wonderful stay with our two young children and my parents. Plenty of room for everyone, comfortable beds, great toys for the little ones, and wonderful to walk out the front door to play in the lake. Kimberley was a great host- always very prompt to respond to questions and give suggestions for restaurants and things to do in the area.

Our stay was overall enjoyable. The house, comfortably nestled by the lake, provided a soothing arrival. Inside, the accommodations were cozy, and the beds were exceptional. The amenities offered were abundant. However, reducing the clutter both inside and on the porch would enhance the experience. Modern updates and renovations could also be beneficial. Additionally, replacing any broken furniture in the bedrooms and thorough dusting are recommended. Lastly, airing out the home, especially if it has been unoccupied for some time, would help dispel any musty odors upon entering. With these improvements, this lake house could become a favored retreat for many.

Wow! This place was amazing. We came down for a week from California with our kids, and we loved every minute. The house itself is spacious, clean, and has absolutely everything you could possibly need. And I mean everything! My son's stuffed animal broke and sure enough, I could find a sewing kit to fit it. We forgot bugspray - no problem! I needed nail polish remover - there it was! The beds are crazy comfortable and I slept so well, the AC kept us cool, and we had so many games, books, and DVDs to keep us entertained at night. The lake is gorgeous and the property was beautiful, we had everything we needed to enjoy the great outdoors. It was quiet and secluded, but also close enough to easily drive 10 minutes to any activity we wanted to do. Kimberly was so friendly and helpful, and she even left us a homemade chocolate cake to welcome us! My kids loved it! I would 100% book here again if we come back to Texas and I highly recommend it to anyone! Thank you, Kimberly, for sharing your home with us!

This is our 3rd stay and we have enjoyed it each time. We come to see son, daughter in law and 2 grand girls. It works perfectly for us and you can’t beat the swings, patio and lake view. Thanks again!

Rented this for a spring break getaway with the family. Was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of beds, rooms, games, tv. Was nice to go somewhere that had everything you needed and then some. Wish the weather would of been better, but the inside games really helped keep the kids and adults entertained. Hope to go back soon!!

This property has a lake front location where we began our days with breathtaking sunrises. The home is roomy, with a well stocked kitchen for both preparing and serving meals. The bedrooms have nice bedding and comfy mattresses. Bathrooms are again clean, well stocked with paper products, shampoos etc. and plenty of towels. There is definitely a beach home vacation vibe here, with DVD movies, board games, a ping pong table and foosball table, and outside swings in the yard. The televisions have both cable and Netflix available. The owners were very communicative, and went an extra mile for us, providing a Christmas tree since we were renting over the holiday. If you plan a warm weather visit, there are lake activities and equipment available for you! We were there in the COLDEST part of 2022! No interest in the lake for us other then some Heron and Egret watching. We would recommend this property to you and your family.

We had a great stay. This home has everything you need plus some. Very nice access to the water to pull the jet skis up on the beach. Owner is very accommodating to any questions we had.
