Stayed Oct 9, 2025The home is located on a nice quiet parcel tucked away from the main road. Family-friendly and plenty of kitchen utensils if you plan to bring groceries for cooking. Everything was clean and comfortable. Brenda was quick to reply to questions which I greatly appreciate! Would definitely stay at this lovely home again!

Stayed Jul 4, 2025This was an overflow house for family that we didn’t have sleeping accommodations. They didn’t spend much time in the house but they thought it was very comfortable. The people sleeping in the primary bedroom would have liked sun blocking drapes tho. Said the morning sun was really bright. I would reserve this house again.

Stayed Jul 9, 2024We enjoyed our getaway at The Johnson Cottage. It was just far enough away to be peaceful, yet not too far away from Louisa, Mineral, and wineries to give us plenty to do. However, bring a star-link or hot spot if you want to be online. We would definitely visit this property again.

Stayed Jun 27, 2024Lovely home. Well maintained. It is clear Brenda care about her guest. Her response to any questions was impressive. Comfortable beds. Outdoor space is relaxing. We stayed there to attend our daughter’s wedding at Avonlea Farms and couldn’t have asked for a better rental. Thank you Brenda for everything.
