The Island Collection MV: Enjoy This 1850s Victorian Home With Ocean Views!

The property is gorgeous, and Jolanta was easy to work with. There is nothing like sitting on this porch and watching the magic of Oak Bluffs pass by. Plenty of room for our group of 10 and no complaints from children or adults. We didn't want to leave!

Our girls group of 6 stayed here and while there were plenty of BR and BA it was an odd configuration . There were 5 of us in upstairs BR (each had our own ) but only 2 BA and one bath was an en-suite so you had to walk though someone’s BR to use it. Only was a problem in middle of night. Unfortunately the weather was unseasonably cold and there was a nor’easter so being an old house there were some leaks and the heat wasn’t well distributed. But regardless of a few hiccups Jolanta was extremely responsive and all was resolved. The location is perfect, across from the beach and a 3 min walk to town . I think in the summer months this would be a perfect house for a large group and I recommend it for summer stays .

This house is perfectly situated in Oak Bluffs within walking distance of the ferry, restaurants, shopping and the beach. The house is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is outfitted with all you need. When we had a question it was easy to text with Jolanta and she was quick to respond.

Our group of up to 11 women has stayed in Vineyard Haven in the past. This was our first time staying in Oak Bluffs and we loved it. Walking to shops, restaurants, and the beach was a great experience!

We could not be happier with our stay at this beautiful home. The owners and caretakers are doing fantastic job in the care of this beautiful home and we are thankful for being able to enjoy this space in our happy place.

There were 10 family and friends that came together to celebrate my birthday. Over 1/2 of them had never been to Martha's Vineyard. Oakbluffs was the perfect place to introduce them to MV. We knew we wanted to explore a couple of towns and be able to cook great meals together. This property was the BEST stocked kitchen I have ever stayed in. It was such a delight to cook in and then the dining room was such a perfect comfortable place of all 10 of us to eat together. We were a short walk to the market and Back Door Donuts!!! And it was a short drive to Edgartown where we spent a good part of one day. The property was a great home base for us. We can't wait to go back.

What a great rental. The location was perfect. The house is beautiful and more spacious than the pictures show. Plenty of room for everyone to stay comfortably. A great front yard and backyard area. The block is safe for kids to run around back and forth without worrying about cars. The neighbors are friendly and welcoming. It is close to everything. Owner and property manager were both very attentive and helpful. We were lucky that this property was available when we booked. If you see that it is available, don't hesitate! Book it immediately!!

The home is well-maintained, with a darling garden out front and beautiful interior decorations. It is well equipped with kitchen, beach, and cleaning items. I especially have to mention the incredibly comfortable mattresses in each room. The home design is fluid and each room has its own private space unconnected. This gave our whole family space - with two great living room area options for gatherings. The home owner Jolanta is kind, quickly responsive, and a pleasure to work with. We had an amazing stay! The location cannot be beat. Ocean view, park out front, nice sidewalk with good people watching from the farmers porch. The house has a ton of character and the kids loved exploring it. Has everything you need and is comfortable. We had a blast! The only complaint is that for the amount we paid, linens should be there. We rented them, which worked fine and was pretty cheap. However, it stinks to go on vacation and have putting sheets on all the beds be the first thing you do when you get there. For 2k/night, the owners can certainly afford linen service for guests so we don't have to make our own beds when we get there.
