Stayed Dec 19, 2025We have stayed at VRBO properties all over the world from Rome to Venice to Stramboat Springs CO. This one was the most quaint. We were in town for an extended daily gathering and usually stay with family. Our family of 5 was more than comfortable and we just loved every detail. The owners have done a brilliant job of updating the entire place (with new tall granite countertops, taller toilets, updated showers etc) while still maintaining the old world charm of the home. We enjoyed every touch and each piece of furniture. The Christmas decorations were the perfect touch and I was even able to take my dessert to our gathering on a beautiful platter. That being said, I would be a little nervous to bring young kids here for fear they might break some of the amazing pieces. We paid a little extra to stay here vs another home and it was worth every penny. What a delightful experience.

Stayed Oct 31, 2025House was clean and lovely. We didn’t use hot tub. All bedrooms are upstairs was hoping one would be downstairs. Location was great since we were here for Scottish Rite at the temple.

Stayed May 24, 2025We came for a wedding and wished we were staying for a week! So many great historic buildings. Great downtown. And this Historic home was perfect for our family! Such a beautiful, well cared for home. We loved it!

Stayed Apr 14, 2025wonderful house and furnishings. we loved everything about it. comfortable bed quite neighborhood. centraly located for everything we wanted to do. we didn't use the hot tub but did sit next to the fire pit one evening, very enjoyable. Thanks for the stay.

Stayed Nov 25, 2024My girls and their families stayed here. We had a huge Thanksgiving feast with our entire family (16). There were plenty of places for everyone. The sunroom was a favorite to relax. The 9 & 11 year girls absolutely loved the hot tub while the adults kept warm at the fire pit. All the bedrooms with 2 bathrooms were upstairs with a half bath downstairs. The kitchen is on the smaller side; however, all the appliances are very nice. We made it work for our feast!We will definitely have family visitors stay here in the future!
