Other things to note
Although we want you to have the Best Stay Ever, there are a few things to be considered at the Little House On The Perry. Unfortunately, due to the various allergies of our guests, we do not allow pets of any kind. We also do not allow parties/large gatherings in the home and on the property. Lastly, we do not allow smoking of any kind, including vape pens/e-cigarettes, INSIDE the home (there is an ashing disposal unit located on the side porch). Please respect these 3 simple rules as they are for all our guests' benefit, and we know everyone wants a clean healthy environment to call home!
Property was centrally located in a nice and quiet neighborhood. However, A/C broke midway through our stay and no one came out to check on it or try to fix it after we reported it. Moreover, many of the bottom floor doors and blinds have no blinds or curtains on them, so there is no privacy. Finally, there is no cable or local TV channels in the apartment.
Great neighborhood obviously safe enough for walking and many female joggers at dawn and dusk. Microbrewery, cool urban coffee shop, and funky southern diner within walking distance (you must have the sweet and spicy bacon at katalina's). I washed dishes and from the window watched people play with their pets in the dog park across the street. Bed was soft. House was nice warm and cozy. Tranquil.
The property was nice, and everything was user-friendly also well maintained.Nice coffee bar area and supplies. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Short Uber ride to German town and other areas. Next time in Columbus, we plan to stay here.
Loved the house and location. I stayed with my sisters and kids. I felt that it was in a very safe and nice part of Columbus. We were there for quarter horse Congress and it was close to the expo center.
Excellent experience at this property. Perfect location to the University, Short North, and the airport. House was clean and comfortable. Would definitely book again for the next trip to Columbus.
The place is clean, well furnished and supplied, and convenient. The pillows are still too thick and firm for my neck but I brought my own and slept well. The upstairs takes a while to cool down at night after very hot days in spite of setting the AC low, but the fans in the room help.
Beautiful home, comfortable beds, great location, more consumables (soap, laundry detergent, razors, toothbrushes, etc) than I have even seen in a VRBO. Only issue was the house was 90 degrees when we arrived and even after running the a/c for two days the best we could get at night was 74 and it would rise slightly during the day.
love it
Stayed here for The Ohio State Spring 2023 graduation. Nice location, clean, quiet, enjoyed our stay.
Ran out of hot water during a shower and had to wait over an hr to have hot water again. It also stated there was a grill but charcoal or propane wasnt a guarntee but we never found a grill?? Other than those small issue the stay was great.
Stayed here with two friends for a few nights for a very nice stay. The communication was clear and easy and we had no issues while we were there. It’s well decorated - very classy. Bedrooms were comfortable. Everything was very clean and tidy - the common spaces to the kitchen to the bedrooms. Nice accents in the bedrooms like diffusers with essential oils along with a multi-USB charger unit. Very thoughtful! The stairs are a bit narrow and ceiling perhaps a bit low for really tall people (but we are all short 5’5 or shorter) so it was a mere observation I had rather than any issues. The home seems a bit older (though very well kept!) so floors can be a bit squeaky at times. Neighborhood is quiet and felt safe as 3 females staying there. Very easy drive to the convention center and High Street activities. Street parking for our rental car had zero issues - plenty of options right outside. Overall a cute and well kept home that I would recommend to others!
Perfectly located between Short North and Grandview. Tons of restaurants and places of interest. Parking was no problem. Immaculate great place. Tons of charm inside. Bedrooms were complete with luxurious bedding and lots of thoughtful things. Diffusers & chargers, etc. Loved the zero water pitcher. Dont hesitate- it is a great place to stay!
The place was an updated older home with new appliances and furnishings. It was clean and nicely decorated, coffee, shampoo, conditioner, soap, laundry supplies were provided along with a few extra bathroom necessities for those in need. The stairs were steep and narrow, as is common in older homes. There was sufficient on street parking, and it was reasonably quiet.
