The holiday home: Modern gem with a magnificent view, unique location & sauna

The house is exquisitely equipped. The view is gorgeous. We loved our stay!

This was the second time we stayed at Ferienhaus Achenkirch and, just as last year, it was marvelous. It's a beautifully located house with a great view on the valley, located closely to the ski lifts. The house was clean and has a really nice bathroom with sauna. The kitchen is well-equipped. Internet is free and fast. Ulli is a great host who is easily accessible and very responsive. We hope to come here every year!

The house is simply superb. It is modern, but remaining cosy. We felt as at home from the very first moment. It offers everything you need, including all utensils you could think about. Its location is great. It is a bit aside, thus offering privacy, but everything you need is within the walking distance. It takes couple of minutes to reach the lake on foot. Nearest grocery is 3-4 minutes far on foot, larger 5 mins by car. We loved sitting at the terrace with the stunning open view of the mountains. The owner is very friendly, helpful in every moment. To tell the truth, for the 10 years travelling together with my husband, we met just once such nice and helpful owner of the rented property. Thank you for everything, Ulli! I hope we'll come back!

Our family (2 adults, 3 kids aged 10,12 and 14) has just enjoyed a lovely week in Achenkirch. The holiday house is very well equipped, the kitchen has just about every appliance you could think of. There are outdoor and indoor games available - we enjoyed the Munich monopoly as we had a few days at Munich en route! The veranda is lovely for sitting out to eat at every meal with great views towards the mountains. We even enjoyed this when it rained as it was protected and quite spectacular with the lightning. The kids fully appreciated the good WiFi. Great location too - there are plenty of outdoor activities right on the doorstep, lots of walks, the lake beach is a few minutes cycle ride and the kids enjoyed leaping into the lake from the platform there. We had a great day cycling to Pertisau and back on hired bikes from Busslehner Sports which is walking distance from the house. The Spar shop for supplies when self catering is very close and we ate at the Zillertalerhof across the road on our last night which was a good restaurant for pleasing all the family - beware ice cream desserts are enormous! The owner Ulli was very responsive with any queries we had which was a great help and which we greatly appreciated. So in short a great house in a great location which we would fully recommend to others!

We will definitely return. The house fit all 8 of us. The furnishings are lovely and the kitchen has everything you need to cook at home. This is truly one of the nicest VRBO homes I have seen! Thank you, Ulli!!
