The property was everything we hoped it would be. Plenty of room for separate family time. We had the fire going slowly all weekend along with the central heating and bedroom panels and the place was very cosy.

The Hive was the perfect location for our family get together with plenty of communal spaces for sharing time and tucked away spots for quiet time too! The trampoline on the back decking was a hit with everyone and the well-equipped kitchen made meal preparation flow easily. Beautiful house and peaceful location

Had a wonderful stay at The Hive with all our family for our son’s wedding which took place at Lavendula which was only 6 minutes away. The house was perfect with the 4 separate wings. It was spacious and clean and the kitchen was well equipped, although it would have been wonderful to have a coffee machine. Loved the quiet surrounds and waking up to kangaroos in our front garden. The trampoline built in the deck was a big hit for the kids. I would thoroughly recommend The Hive.

We were a group of 18 Adults. The property is well equipped and everything is provided for a large group. Lovely property with large living, dining rooms and kitchen. Bedrooms are comfortable and no bunk beds is great for a group of Adults. Good location, a short drive into Daylesford.

The house was so spacious but also cozy, especially with the fire lit in the lounge room. We had a wonderful stay, it felt secluded but close enough for a coffee run in the morning. It was lovely to wake up to Kangaroos grazing in the backyard.

We celebrated my Mothers 70th birthday with a weekend away at the Hive in Hepburn.The home was even more beautiful and more spacious than what it looked like in the photos.It was in the perfect location, in a quiet spot just 10mins drive from main st Daylesford.The Nintendo Wi and inground trampoline were an absolute hit with the kids.It fit all 22 of us with no complaints - the unit/room set up is very good.The kitchen was huge and had every appliance you could think of.My only complaint would be about the bbq which wasn't clean, the amount of spiders in the bathrooms and the bathrooms sinks which weren't draining properly.Having said that we would definitely stay again.Thank you Peter and Janet for letting us rent your beautiful holiday home.

Was a fantastic venue for us to stay with four families. Loads of room, entertaining zone is huge and it has great facilities.

This was the perfect home away from home for our annual family weekend. There was ample space for our family to spread out and enjoy the luxury of the home. The property owners were very helpful. We felt at home and enjoyed the quiet secluded surroundings. Highly recommend.

Such an amazing house. Large and spacious with dedicated chill out lounge and a large eating hall with whiteboard and sound system! Everyone had a very relaxing weekend and we had perfect weather for walks to the blow hole and surrounds. The trampoline was a bonus and we used it for nightly stargazing!

The house is perfect for a large group. The kitchen is fantastic to cook in. Great area for eating and playing board games. Bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable. The trampoline on the deck was a hit with the little kids. And the kangaroos around the property each morning and night was a highlight too.

the house was just amazing. There were 24 of us attending my mother’s 90th birthday. We had her children grand children and great grand children all stay for the weekend. There was plenty of room fo us with no one getting in each others way. The views were terrific and it was a blast seeing the kangaroos on the property. I have to say all the children as well as the younger adults made the most of the in ground trampoline. It kept them occupied for hours. Peter and Janet kept in touch with us with any issues we had. The house was comfortable furnished beautifully with plenty of amenities.

We absolutely loved staying at this property. It was perfect for our group. Extremely well equipped. We used it as a work colleague retreat. We highly recommend it. We just brought anlong our food and beverages. Thank you so much.

The Hive provided an excellent place to stay for family and friends who had traveled to attend my daughter’s wedding nearby. The disabled bathroom made having an older relative with us much easier and a cot and high chair catered for our youngest guest. It was special to be able to have four generations all comfortably staying together. With plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen is very well equipped and the heating was a bonus for winter.
