The rooms are very spacious and all feature a SmartTv as an added bonus! The kitchen is amazing! Also, the location is very convenient to town and campus.

The house worked out perfect. Awesome remodel on a historic house. we bowled in the National Tournament, so it was very conveniently located.

Great location and within walking distance to a lot of the downtown district. We went for the USBC open bowling championship. Less than a 5 minute walk to the convention center. Home was beautiful and well kept. If you are visiting Baton Rouge this home checks all the boxes.

We stayed here for Nationals bowling. The location was wonderful for us.

The house was in great condition and the pictures honestly don't do it justice. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, while the kitchen was well appointed. The house was walking distance to the River Center where we were bowling in the national tournament, while also being close to many great restaurants in the mid city area. Overall, it was an excellent option for 3 couples with 2 young children. We'd happily stay again.

Rex House had everything we needed. Location is excellent. House was clean and comfortable. Six adults, three bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. Elyse was an excellent host. Will stay again on our next trip to Baton Rouge.

The property is just as listed. This is a beautiful, historic home with all updated features. Perfect location for quick drive to convention center and downtown. Elyse was available and always quick to respond. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We stayed at The Rex House for a wedding. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom so it was great for getting ready in private. The kitchen is a great gathering place and is fully equipped for all needs. Highly suggest this historic but perfectly renovated property!

This property was perfect! Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The living area has a bathroom as welll. The home is beautiful and within walking distance of downtown attractions and wonderful eateries! I couldn't have asked for anything better!

Highly recommend renting the charming house if anyone is staying downtown Baton Rouge instead of a hotel.

Stayed here for USBC Nationals. Very spacious, yet cozy, old timey house. Walking distance to the bowling center (drive there - parking out front on street of center is free if you’re lucky enough to get a spot, get locker, leave balls).Slept 7 comfortably. 3 couples & a tag along.Quiet neighborhood.It’s an old house, so when the A/C runs, it’s cold, when it’s not running, it feels warm. Not a complaint at all.Plenty of bathrooms. Fantastic showers.Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Came for bowling tourney, great house located right near the raising cains center, museums, good food..... I love to come home at night and relax before i sleep and this place gave me a feeling like my own home. Definitely would stay again.

We chose to gather in Baton Rouge this year for Thanksgiving and the Rex House was perfect. The area was accessible to all areas of the city. The house was beautiful and accommodating. We will definitely be booking again.

Beautiful property located in the heart of downtown Baton Rouge. We went for an lsu football game, the location was perfect. It is very close to restaurants and nightlife downtown. The host was very receptive to every need.

This is a great property to stay at for a group gathering. Big kitchen, dining and living room. It’s in a perfect location for walks, restaurants and sightseeing. It’s also close to the major highways and airport. Elyse is a wonderful host. We totally enjoyed our experience there.

Everything was great. Great location to whay we where doing. May want to make sure you stop by Walmart before you get there it is not located near any Grocery stores and the Dollar Generals are not recommended LOL. The house is . perfect.

We love this place! Second time staying in 5 weeks-first for freshman move in in August and now for Family Weekend. Due to Hurricane Helene, we pivoted and needed to arrive early and Elyse was amazing and accommodating as always. This has become our home away from home and secretly hope the secret never gets out about how awesome it is. Thanks again for another lovely stay!!

Our stay at The Historic Rex House was perfect! Elyse, the owner was incredibly responsive throughout the whole process. She even brought over a large gumbo pot for us to use during our stay! The home itself is beautifully renovated and furnished, well stocked and immaculate. Very comfortable for my family’s trip to Baton Rouge for an LSU football game weekend! Highly recommend this awesome historic property.
