Stayed Oct 3, 2019Nice place for a family get together. My wife and I and 2 daughters and 2grandkids survived with one bathroom. No problem.

Stayed May 20, 2026Lovely little house with one bathroom with a nice shower! Several people had issues with the indoor air quality; not sure exactly what the problem was, assuming it had to do with an old house. Smell was more relevant in the playroom upstairs. Loved the Paito and chairs, there is a cat that likes to sit in the chairs.

Stayed Oct 17, 2025The Chestnut House was a very comfortable option for us. The thing that really stuck out to us was the thoughtfulness of the host. A bottle of wine was left for us, an ample supply of coffee available, lots of toilet paper and kitchen supplies. The house had everything we needed including a desk for my wife to work at. It is an older house and so some of the spaces are small like the bathroom and kitchen, but it was completely functional and nicely done given the space limitations.

Stayed Jul 13, 2024Stayed 8 days and the house was simply wonderful for comfort, space, and central location. Equipped with everything you need. Beds were very comfortable and we slept well. Myself, son and grandson enjoyed our stay immensely. The front porch was fantastic and favorite place!

Stayed May 22, 2023We had a fabulous time at the Chestnut house. It was a great location for going back & forth from family in Lenexa and our grandkids absolutely loved the play area upstairs!! Stayed Sep 21, 2021House is conveniently located in Johnson County, KS, clean and well-equipped. Kitchen is well-equipped, but bathroom is small.
