Stayed Nov 6, 2024Great 3 bed, 2full bath and 21/2 bath home in prairie village with pet friendly backyard. Very nice home with great open kitchen, living concept. Terrific basement with additional living/TV/Game area and laundry. One upstairs bed had 2 queen size beds in addition to a separate queen size bed. Both share an upstairs bathroom Downstairs is the primary with its own bathroom. Very quiet neighborhood. Nice decor, easy communication, with VRBO/owner. In town for my mother in law’s birthday. I would definitely return to this property

Stayed Oct 9, 2024We had trouble with things around the house. Jack sent Judson over to fix the garbage desposial along with fixing the fence to keep are dogs in. We had doors that would not lock along with bar stools that Judson had to work on.The dinning room table has a niel that I cut my finger on. The kids where the only pne that had no troublr with every one else did. I am handicap and had a lot of trouble with using the front stepes. I was able to get my wheelchair around some of the places in the house. The Spanish workers next door told us they started work at 7:30 from Monday to Friday and finish at 4:00 If you where able to build rales on the first steps and work with changing the bathroom toilets to help ada people out better

Stayed Aug 9, 2024This house was perfect for our family weekend get together. We had three pups between my adult children and myself, and the accommodations were perfect. The hosts even provided dog bowls and pup treats for them. We will definitely be looking at more stays at the Hawthorn when coming to KC!

Stayed Jul 18, 2024The Hawthorne is in a lovely neighborhood with activities for all ages. The house itself is comfortable and clean and the photos are accurate. We have stayed in The Hawthorne twice now, and we would stay again.

Stayed Jun 7, 2024The set up and location of the house were perfect for what we needed. The large kitchen/family room made it easy to be together even during meal prep. We went for many of walks in the quiet neighborhood - the sidewalks were well shaded and it is very near the Village Shops. It was a great place to be!

Stayed Dec 7, 2023The property was add is in the pictures - but even better in real life. The house was spacious and host was incredibly responsive. Wonderfully safe neighborhood - take a hike or a walk. This property is so close to the PV shops! Would definitely recommend staying - I will again!

Stayed Nov 3, 2023Nice big house. Host thought of every detail. Our family lives in different parts of the Country and Kansas City is the perfect meeting location for us. We all used the Chiefs vs Dolphins game in Germany to get together. We would definitely stay here again. Definitely 5 star.

Stayed Jul 31, 2023I loved this retreat! Under trees in a quaint and quiet Kansas suburb, it was a comfortable haven in every room. Well appointed, every amenity needed was provided, and the fenced back yard and back porch were so relaxing! I loved the coffee area, and the master bath was huge and the closets were masterfully crafted… we loved our stay here and my son loved the basketball goal!

Stayed Mar 10, 2023Stayed here days after welcome our first grandchild. It was super spacious and a great place to spend family time together. We enjoyed all of the living space and made some incredible memories. Back yard was a little muddy but other than that everything was fantastic! Thank you for a great stay!
