This home is well worth the cost to stay. When we first opened the door, the smell that came out made all of us say, man this place smells so good! It was extremely clean and in a very quiet neighborhood. Brian was so easy to get a hold of and I could not have asked for a better hostess! If I ever need to rent a place here again, I will be staying here. Thanks Brian!
This home by far is the cleanest home I have ever stayed in and it has a nice refreshing smell. We had everything we needed and then some. Brian and his wife communicated well and went above and beyond to meet our needs and wants. The property is very convenient to town and sits in a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. We hope to stay here more when we are in town to visit family.
Such a great property and location!
The host was very helpful with all the questios I had. The house was very comfortable and close to the wedding event. The house provided a spectacular weekend with comfortable beds and beautiful scenery around the community the house reside in.
The house was spotless. Very thoughtful amenities, great communication. Would highly recommend
We were in town for a family wedding. The property felt new and was very clean. The check in and home instructions were easy and seamless. We enjoyed our stay.
As the meeting planner for a conference (5x per year), I am always looking for unique stays for our guests. This one was a real hit. Spacious, well appointed and close to the Russell Museum. Everyone loved it and we will be booking again!
We loved the house: it is new, clean, spacious, tastefully decorated, and thoughtfully furnished. We appreciated having 4 smart TVs, one in each room, a foosball table, and office space upstairs. As we stayed over Christmas and New Year's, the owner even put up a nicely decorated Christmas tree in the living room! The owner was very responsive throughout the booking process, prior to and during our stay. During our 9 day stay, we explored the area, visiting Staunton (charming town with cute stores and cafes), Charlottesville (Monticello and Highland presidential estates, Trump Winery, Carter Mountain Orchard, UVA campus), Richmond (VFMA, Maymont, Agecroft), Roanoke (Taubman art museum, Mill Mountain Zoo), Natural Bridge, Lexington, Grand Caverns, and a few hikes. It would also make for a great base for exploring the mountain scenery of Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway, both only a few miles from the house, though they were closed during our stay due to snow and ice. We highly recommend this house as a nice, comfortable base for exploring an area full of natural, historic, and cultural attractions.
