The cozy living room features a 42 color television with cable. A warm elegant king size master bedroom features a 1930's door as the headboard and the double bedroom features an old barn door as a headboard and a 1930's refinished armoire. We used to live in Edenton, so we already knew what a special place it is. This rental was *perfection*! Absolutely spotless!! Charming, and tastefully decorated. Sun porch is air conditioned and heated, making it a real treat in the NC summer. Bed was so comfy! Donna is an outstanding host! So many little touches: a welcome message with treats and snacks, toiletries, outside grill, great AC to fight the NC summer heat! We now know we have a great place to hang our hat when we come back to the town we miss and love

Comfortable, homey, cozy little farm house. Equipped with everything you might need. Beds were very comfortable! Good communication from the host and she left us a nice welcome! Great location with a quick drive to downtown. Would definitely stay there again!

We were conveniently located just down the street from the event we were attending, as well as just a minute or so from the central part of the charming, historical town of Edenton, NC. The Hardison House is a vintage 1930s home that has kept its 1930s flavor while being refreshed & renewed with such a pretty decor and all the amenities you could need or want. Our king size bed & pillows were super comfortable (& it’s hard for me to find a comfortable pillow!) We met both Donna & Jerry who are extremely friendly - without being intrusive! They were so accommodating and generous and found several ways to make us feel welcome. We hope to come back in the future.

The property is very nice and quaint. There was occasionally road traffic noise.

The property was far enough away from the town but close enough for us to go back and forth easily. The only reason a 4 for location is it was close to the road and we could hear cars driving by at night-still over all quiet because it wasn’t a terribly busy road at night.

We chose this property for its proximity between our daughter in Southern VA and my mother in Eastern NC (Wilson area). The house is clean and well appointed. We cooked most meals there and had everything we needed and gave the coffee pot a serious run for the money. Everything was as described. A few short minutes to the historic downtown area and a similar run to the grocery store. It was a week of rest and books and games and family. Perfect holiday get away.

This was a great VRBO experience. It all started with Donna who was very responsive and accommodating. She personalized our arrival as well. Very clean and nicely decorated home. Very comfortable and convenient to town but far enough out to be quiet. Would stay here again if in the area.
