Stayed Jun 29, 2024Enjoyed family vacation at lake house. House is in a great location, middle of the lake in a quiet cove. Easy access from the house to the dock and the steps into the lake were a top priority for my family. Both were easy for the 77 year old and the 20 month old. House was clean, beds were comfortable. Kitchen was small but well stocked. House faces west so sunsets were magnificent. Wish there were some shade or curtains to block the sun in the afternoon and shade on the dock, but we managed to get away from the hot sun. Would definitely consider renting again. Thank you!

Stayed Jun 14, 2024My family of five had a great stay at the Hangout on Lake Keowee. The two story windows with the view of the lake, were spectacular. The lake access was great and we used the paddle boards and kayaks and fished off of the property and the dock. The downstairs living space was really great, and we loved the decks and the hot tub. We rented a boat from Sunset Marina (7 min drive) and had a great time on the water, tubing and swimming. Lake Keowee is really beautiful. I left off a star because the decking needs some TLC. I did not let my children walk on it barefoot due to some warping and elevated screws. Also, the kitchen is a little tight. It was fine for us, but for a larger group, it would have been tight. But the property and the views were sooo great. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Stayed Mar 28, 2024We stayed in this property for Easter weekend to see my two girls that are at Clemson . We were a group of 8 adults and had a fabulous time ! House is roomy with plenty of baths and was very clean . The backyard is a bonus with beautiful views . We were blessed with sunny warm weather for our visit which was wonderful ! Will definitely book again !

Stayed Sep 29, 2023The view of the lake in the mornings and evenings from several different spots at this lovely home makes it one of the nicest locations we’ve stayed at in years. I loved the fact that the owners provide both kayaks and a paddle board to use in the lake, and the floating dock makes it a snap to launch both watercraft. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay at that terrific property longer - next time….
