Host was great, very engaged in making sure access was seamless. House is amazing, everything clean, organized and in working order. Absolutely no issues.

This property is exactly like the pictures and so much more! We all had such a great time taking in the views and enjoying all the house had to offer! The Christmas decorations everywhere made the house so inviting and warm! We will definitely stay at this amazing house again! The owners checking on us while we were there to make sure everything was perfect was simply above and beyond!

Our family has been coming to Great Trout Lodge forYears and every time we visit, it gets better and better! This beautiful property has been masterfullyremodeled with beautiful decor. Every detail is exquisite and nothing has been overlooked, a true masterpiece for all age groups to enjoy. We look forward to booking our next visit and creating more wonderful memories in the future.

Just book it! A fabulous home and property. The owners though of everything. It is impeccably decorated, extremely clean and all in all a perfect home. There is nothing to be changed and nothing that could be improved. The patio with the hot tub and fire pit were perfect. The dock is a fishers paradise. There is no season this home wouldn't be perfect.I can only imagine what it looks like when the trees are turning or a good snowfall, and cool water in the summer. Like I said, just book it! You won't regret it!!!

Our family had a cousin's reunion at the property in Sept. 2025. The house was clean and well laid out. There are several places for small groups to gather and chat. We hung out for four days and fished, rented a boat from Lillie's that pulled up to the dock, and grilled and ate all our meals in the backyard. Great time. Great host.

This property is AMAZING! It truly exceeded the photos. Most rental property photos are pictures taken before any guests have rummaged through leaving a property a shadow of former best days. But not so with this listing. Hands down, the most supremely clean, wonderful, amazing cabin we have ever stayed in. (We have stayed in wonderful luxury cabins in Oklahoma and Colorado, but truly none compared to this.) It took a while to understand the flow of the river...ie...sometimes it is rolling swift like day one of our visit. But to our complete delight, the next two days were completely calm waters. And then the next day the water was rolling again. The view of the river was so calming, and the cold air off the water made the summer air easy to be around. Nightly, the canadian geese would fly through in formation over the water and dip their wings while soaring. The trout were so active in jumping out of the water. And two blue herring kept us captivated for an entire evening. Our Hosts maintained contact just to check in on us or to ask if we needed anything. It was nice to know that if we had needed help, they were just a call away. Again, we cannot say enough about how well this property is maintained. If you book this as your vacation destination, just know that you will not be disappointed in any way. You will be so happy you stayed here!!

We voted this our BEST family vacation ever. The house was amazing and fully equipped with everything we needed. Check in was easy and a nice surprise of cookies was waiting on the kitchen counter for us to enjoy the whole 4 days we were there. Questions and service was taken care of immediately for us. The fish were not biting there on Taneycomo, but we had a great time anyway. Lots of ping pong was played in the garage and we rented a pontoon for half a day on Tablerock. This house was furnished with so many games, ping pong, pool table, etc. and tv's in every room. We would highly recommend staying there to anyone and give it our highest rating possible. Cabin was wonderful and location was great. Kitchen was very well stocked. Lots of games for the kids. It was a memorable stay.

Perfect place for my family of 16 to stay. The house had everything we needed. Location was close to everything. Decor was beautiful. The hosts were so accommodating. She had it decorated for the 4th of July. My family lived sitting by the fire pit at night. 10/10 recommend this place.

Location is beautiful and convenient to everything we wanted to do in Branson. We fished off the dock and hired a trout guide one morning who picked us up at the dock. So convenient! Owners and property manager were quick to respond to any questions or issues we had. Overall very comfortable stay and private backyard while being close to activities in Branson.

Beautiful house. Felt like staying at a Bass Pro Shops. We brought our boats and the fishing was fantastic! Looking forward to booking this house again in the future.

This is a fantastic home for a family get together. We had six adults and three children (9, 7 and 2). We had more than enough space. In fact, didn't use one whole bedroom or the bunk room. The space has every amenity one could want, plus activities galore - fishing, kayaking, billiards, table tennis, foosball, air hockey, table games, bicycling. Check-in was super easy and the host checked in on us via text during our stay to make sure there were no issues. 100% recommend The Great Trout Lodge!

Everyone enjoyed the house, dock, backyard. It was a great place to enjoy with my family. The house had plenty of room for 13 people. The location was in close proximity to all things Branson and no noise

5 stars just aren’t enough to give this property. This is where my family stays every year for our Christmas vacation. Accommodations are more than excellent and the property is over the top with Christmas decor. The view is stunning as we relax and watch the river and wild life. The owners are so easy to communicate with and very responsive. Highly recommend!

Long weekend trip for our couple friend group, we enjoyed the house so much. It was a beautiful house and decorated so cute for Christmas. It was perfect for 4 couples and the pictures did not do it justice. It has anything and everything you could possible need to enjoy your stay.

This property truly is AMAZING! The inside makes you feel like you’re in the Colorado Rockies and the outside is just as amazing!! There is so much this property offers for ALL ages. The toddlers LOVED the low windows where they could watch the outdoor activities, our young adults loved the kayaks and many games provided, us older adults loved the fishing, outdoor campfires and outdoor swings. But you know what everyone enjoyed most… those two huge double chairs overlooking the river. Views were spectacular…,deer drinking ant the rivers edge and geese floating the river. We’ve rented great homes in Colorado and Canada and this one topped them all. Ralph and Roni were so easy to work with, answering our every question within minutes. Definitely the best experience we’ve ever had. Oh! Did I mention the awesome holiday decorations both inside the home and outside! A huge hit for the entire family. Location couldn’t have been better either for all of our activities we had planned….Silver Dollar City, Dolly Parton Stampede, Sight & Sound Theater, and others. Thanks Ralph & Roni…..LOVED your home!

A beautifully maintained and rustic cabin, nestled on the shores of lake Taneycomo,with breathtaking views and is a tastefully decorated Paradise. Definitely recommend for a relaxing weekend of sanctuary!!! Five stars.

Amazing beauty tucked in the Ozarks. We have utilized many VRBO's over the past 15 years this is top notch. The pictures on line are beautiful in person the place and setting are stunning. We fished everyday from the dock or kayaks and caught many trout. The house amenities were plentiful and there is much to do indoors and out...Will definitely be back for another visit.

Place was immaculate. Incredibly clean. Impressive first impression upon entry. Place makes it hard to want to leave.

The property is well kept and maintained. It is provided with everything we needed; linens, towels, bicycles, kayakers, board games, etc. the location is superb right on the river, which gets foggy often (hence the name of the street). This phenomenon added more beauty and serenity. Will definitely come back again.

The pictures do not due justice to this home. Beautiful is an understatement. The attention to detail is great. The house is well stocked. Our family of 13 found everything very we could have hoped for, kids had their own area.On a hot summer day sitting on the dock with the cool Taneycomo breeze is very nice. I liked drinking coffee in the morning sitting by the lake as the fog rises to meet you. Wonderful!

My wife and I have stayed in many places and this lodge was by far the best place we’ve rented. The natural setting, furnishings, amenities and hosts were the absolutely the best. I would give a higher rating but 5 stars is the best. Did I mention the hosts? Roni and Ralph were so gracious in every way. Even left a surprise to help celebrate my 70th birthday. The lodge has such a warm family vibe as soon as you walk through the door you can tell there have been many many memories made there. Despite having choices of things to do in Branson we opted to remain on property for most of our stay. We caught multiple trout right from the dock, more than when we rented a pontoon at Liley’s Landing. The lodge is impressive in structure, design and has something for everyone. I could go on but the description and amenities list is accurate so book it! You won’t regret it.
