This is our second stay at this wonderful property. Such a special location and a beautiful home. We will be back again!

This home is an absolute dream! The location is truly unbeatable — nestled right on the lake shore with the most breathtaking views. Every detail of the home was immaculate and thoughtfully maintained. The owner was a pleasure to communicate with, making the whole experience seamless and stress-free. We are already counting down the days until our next stay!

The host was responsive and helpful, checking in to make sure we had everything we need. The house is BEAUTIFUL and in the perfect location. I only wish the weather was a little better. Hopefully we’ll stay here again one day to enjoy better weather!

This is the most beautiful place ever! The pictures do not do it justice. We are already planning our next trip back. Would recommend this place to everyone. The home has everything that you might think of. Loved it!

This property was set up with everything you need. The house itself was pretty amazing inside and out. We will recommend to friends and family. We will definitely be coming back.

Prime location. Lots of bedrooms, space, and facilities.

While the property has lovely views, there are a few significant drawbacks. Only one of the four bedrooms (the dark one in the basement with no attached bath) had true curtains, while the other three bedrooms (including the master) had skylights or sheers, making it difficult to sleep past sunrise. The kitchen was disappointing—lacking sharp knives, with poor-quality pots and pans, and an outdated stove with malfunctioning gas burners and no oven light. The bathrooms are quite dark, and the outside jacuzzi, while nice to have, has seen better days. Many lightbulbs were out or not installed at all, and despite the landlord's assurance that they would be fixed, nothing changed during our stay. Additionally, the carpeting is very worn (looked dirty) and becoming unseamed in many spotsThe home itself felt dated, which contributed to the overall impression. On the plus side, the beds were very comfortable, and the numerous fireplaces were a nice feature. You do need to bring your own firewood, which we did. However, our sleep was definitely disturbed—an issue the homeowner surprisingly had no prior knowledge of and suggested I should have brought sleep masks, which I found quite odd. Additionally, having to haul your own trash in your car to an off-site location was very unpleasant, especially considering the rental price.Overall, the views are beautiful, but the home requires better maintenance and some updates to justify the cost.

An absolute stunner when it comes to the view and caliber of real estate… truly an unmatched piece property on the lake in Big Bear, and centrally located to everything you need in the village. Seeing this view, our group felt like we were in a VRBO commercial. We knew it was going to be a good stay, but not THIS good. Home was large, yet had a very comfortable feel, both for the adults and kids. Owner was very communicative and accommodating. Sad to leave but we absolutely plan to return. 10/10 across the board.

If you want a retreat for some quality family time, this is the place! My 2 daughters, husbands & 4 children, ages 3-13, and I all thoroughly enjoy being together in this superbly-comfortable (to say the least!), spacious (and I mean s p a c i o u s!), convenient, safe, clean and just plain fun home. This was our 2nd visit. Everyone was anxious to return after our first visit, and we plan to come again. We spend our days playing games at the large kitchen table, cooking (the kitchen has all the hardware you will need!), talking, laughing, playing pool, fishing (for the 13 yr old), sitting in the spa and by the peaceful lake, and, during the summer, playing in the lake. There is something for everybody, and everything is conveniently located right there on the property. And when you need some down-time, there are plenty of quiet places to be alone for a while.Also, the views from virtually every part of the property, both inside and out, are superb. The sunsets and long twilight will take your breath away. You get the idea - this place has everything you need for some serious family bonding. When your time is up, you will not want to leave.
