The Granary in Powburn, Northumberland sleeps two guests in one bedroom.



The Space:

The Granary consists of a kitchen with electric oven and grill, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, coffee maker, iron, and ironing board, a living/dining room with Freeview TV with DVD player, gas fire, digital radio, CD player, and iPod docking station, and a snug with access to terrace and garden. The bedroom consists of a king-size with amplestorage and serviced by a bathroom. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with patio, furniture, and charcoal barbecue, a patio terrace with furniture and off road parking for one car, plus EV charging available. Shop 0.8 miles, pub 0.5 miles, river 0.1 miles, lake 1.4 miles. Two well-behaved dogs welcome, but sorry, no smoking. Stay at The Granary for your next picture-perfect holiday. Note: Living/dining room overlooks owner's garden. Note: One step with grab handle from snug to terrace and garden. Note: Changeovers can be accepted on Mondays / Fridays / Saturdays between October to March. Between April-Summer, changeovers can only be catered for on Saturdays.



The Neighborhood:

The small pretty Northumberland village of Powburn is situated in the foothills of the Cheviots and surrounded by glorious countryside. The village has a shop and a wide range of amenities are available in the nearby market town of Alnwick. The village makes an ideal base for exploring the Northumberland National Park, Alnwick with its imposing castle (known to millions as Hogwarts School in Harry Potter!), the impressive castle gardens and The Treehouse Restaurant. The spectacular coastline, the attractive towns of Wooler and Rothbury and the well known National Trust country house and gardens at Cragside are all within easy reach.
