Stayed Sep 19, 2025We had the best time at this cute little hideaway! 5 minutes from downtown Black Mountain, quiet and safe. We enjoyed feeding the animals and the farm fresh eggs left by the owners. Loved the soaps and room spray in the house, the nespresso and the adorable fireplace. The hot tub was perfect! A friend and I were there for a quiet girl’s weekend and were completely relaxed. The cabin was precious and cozy, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Stayed Aug 14, 2025Our stay at The Gordie cabin was absolutely perfect in every way. Scott and Jake left no detail behind from the fresh farm eggs, to the soap and shampoo from a local Black Mountain boutique. Waking up to the chickens and goats every morning was such a joy. Carrots and dried worms were provided for feeding, which my son was very excited to do each day. A quick five minute drive to downtown Black Mountain and twenty minutes from Asheville. Can’t wait to come back in the fall to peep them leaves!

Stayed Jul 25, 2025This was the perfect rental! It was super clean and appeared brand new. The host was very responsive to my questions I had which was so appreciated. The animals on property were such a fun addition to our trip. The hot tub was also a nice touch. We brought our dog and she enjoyed it as well. We absolutely plan to stay here again!

Stayed Mar 2, 2025Black Mountain is our favorite place for a quick weekend getaway. We found this cabin and thought it was too good to be true. We are animal lovers so meeting and giving the ponies, goats and fish treats was all my daughter wanted to do. It was so quiet and close to town. The hot tub was amazing it had a massage chair we fought over nightly. The owners were so sweet and brought us fresh eggs and extra treats for the fish and the animals and spent time telling us about them. We can't wait to come back and we might not even leave the farm next time! The cabin was very clean and had some great shampoo we fell in love with!
