THE GETAWAY in the Village of Lexington

Everything was great with our stay. They were able to accommodate us last minute. The owner granted us an early check-in per my request but I was unable to take advantage of it since work kept me later. Had some everyday items for essentials. Fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. Only thing I would add as the home owner is a screened front door since their was no AC. Would've made for a nice breeze. We would return again!

Perfect place! Open concept, three big bedrooms and two great bathrooms. Super clean!

Perfect layout, had every amenity we needed. Excellent location, within walking distance to town and pier. Short drive to beach with chairs, beach towels provided. We met our hosts upon departing. So nice, always responsive, quick and timely communication. We would be happy to return when visiting Lexington.

This property is excellent plenty of room very clean and comfortable! Excellent location to walk to town or just around the block. The neighborhood is clean and cute! We have family that live in the area and we will always try to book this location when we travel to the area!

The house and grounds were clean, cozy, well stocked, well maintained, and the property was perfectly located within walking distance to to town yet set back far enough from high-traffic roads to ensure a very peaceful and quiet setting. I would definitely stay here again.

This was our second time booking the getaway. The host Tracy is excellent and communicate immediately with any questions.

It’s February in Lexington so lots of snow. 5 friends, we didn't leave the house all weekend. All the amenities you’d expect. We had asked for a slow cooker and one was provided. The ladies mentioned the master suite closet smelled musty so did the blankets that came out of it. I did message the owner.. Would stay again, recommend the Huron Street Cafe, awesome breakfast,

This was a great rental - quiet street, perfect location, a lot of space, lots of natural light, huge closets, comfortable beds, great water pressure in shower, easy check in and checkout process. Having the ramp on the porch made it super easy getting luggage in and out. We would definitely stay here again.

The Getaway is conveniently located within walking distance to town where we enjoyed restaurants, a farmers market, shopping, a coffee shop and a concert at the theater! Having Lake Huron as a backdrop adds to the up north experience. Walking out on the pier is always a nice experience. Our accommodations were very well suited for our girls weekend! We did find ourselves looking to see our outfits in a full length mirror while getting ready for a concert ....so we bought one as a gift to all future girls weekenders☺️ This was our 2nd annual girls trip and we already plan on coming back for year 3!
