The Gables: 364-C Chatham Resort Style Estate with Heated Pool, Close to Everything

Beautiful historic home. Very well appointed kitchen. Very clean and comfortable beds.

We all enjoyed this immaculate, well maintained and fully equipped home. While it has the charm of a old sea captain's house, it was packed with latest comforts and technology.

We had a great stay at The Gables! We loved and enjoyed just about everything in this house and we hope to stay again in the future.

The home was great for our family, and the pool was a big hit.The was well appointed and furnished. The kitchen was excellent! Our kids surprised my wife and I an anniversary dinner where Two Chefs came in and prepared appetizers and dinner for all of us, and it all worked out great. The only struggle we had was that we could never quite figure out how to run the dishwasher. We did was dishes, but it was after 2-3 tries to start it. And it's so quiet you're never really sure it's on.The location is so convenient too. Can't imagine a better place to stay in the Chatham area....perhaps with the exception of the Chatham Bars Inn!!!

Great historic property which had everything we needed to make our family vacation perfect. Even better was the attention to detail and service provided by Pretty Picky. Any questions or concerns were resolved immediately and in-person, and we so appreciated that.

We had an 85th birthday party for my Dad. 15 of the guests stayed here. Great time!!

The Gables was the perfect vacation home for our group of 14 adults. Everyone had their own spacious bedroom en suite, the kitchen was well stocked and the outdoor patio and pool was a lovely gathering place.

This house was everything advertised! Comfortable, big, plenty of amenities, easy to navigate (except for the one kitchen light switch which we never did find). I wish the house were closer to town for walking purposes, but it worked. Picky Properties management greeted us when we arrived, and handled the one issue that we had flawlessly! I would recommend this property for large families (we had 14).

This location was spectacular, and the multi-room former B&B was ideal for our extended family. The property was in 5-star shape and we were able to cook family dinners, relax in the pool and enjoy our visit. When we checked in there was a minor issue with the pool that we noticed and the next day there was a pool maintenance team to take care of it. Every appliance and amenity were in brand-new shape. Highly recommend.

Amazing house! We needed a place to stay for our small family wedding. Everything was absolutely amazing. Plenty of space for both sides, the house has everything we needed, and it was unbelievably comfortable. We were nervous to have both sides of our family stay in the same home, but there was so much space and a lot of common areas that provided options for people to relax on their own or together (not to mention an awesome pool area). Parking was great, located so close to downtown—we are so happy with choosing this house! Overall an unbelievable trip that can be described only as perfect.

Overall, the Gables is very charming and well appointed although the layout is a little quirky in that at least one bedroom is entered from an outside door other than the main entrance or through another bedroom. However, it just takes a little getting use to. The property is well maintained, the grounds are beautiful, and the interior of the house satisfied all our needs. Lots of bedrooms with their own bathrooms, several delightful sitting rooms, and a basement game room enjoyed by the family. Wonderful outdoor grills, fire pit, and hot tub added to our fun. We would definitely return.
