The Farm Cottage--close to two state parks

This cottage was the perfect place to land during our family reunion. The cottage is clean, well appointed, and stocked with essentials. The surrounding farm is quaint and peaceful. The hosts are quick to respond to communication and eager to assist with anything you might need. We very much appreciated the fresh beef and eggs that were waiting for us upon arrival. We look forward to our next stay here at the end of the year!

Extra friendly hosts and the cottage was very beautiful, spacious and clean!!! All the amenities and then some. Quiet and peaceful on the farm. Loved the views and especially the cows. The only bad thing was that we had to leave…..Thanks so much!!!! 😘. Alan and Melissa.

Property is located on a farm, and is comfy, quiet, and clean. Very cozy and cool furniture and decor. PRIVATE. Could use a little more water pressure, but a small price to pay for such a great place to stay...

This is a farm house on a operating cattle ranch that had everything we wanted. The owners were very nice and helpful. We loved our time there and wish we had more than 3 nights. I would highly recommend hiking in Petite Jean mountain and Mount Nebo State park which is on top of a mountain.

Everything was fine, but the bed in the south bedroom was not level. The mattress in the north bedroom was sagging and should be replaced. We still had a good experiance.

The Cottage was sure a slice of ranching. Loved it.

The farm was beautiful and the home was cozy and clean. It was a peaceful and relaxed experience!

Didn't do much cooking but everything needed in a kitchen was available even a taste of country----eggs and beef raised at the back door! Felt very safe with the owner living close by and very willing to assist with anything needed such as information about surrounding areas, mileage and information about the park, etc..

Cozy and cute interior with a beautiful and quiet environment! Very clean. Great communication with owner who is very accommodating. Fantastic place to stay and will definitely be returning!

Very beautiful house on a beautiful ranch. Stylish and comfortable space just 20 minutes to Petit Jean and 25 to Mount Nebo

The cottage provided an ideal and delightful accommodation, boasting lovely decor and a location on a working farm. The hosts generously provided us with fresh farm eggs and the most exquisite ground beef, sourced from their black angus cows. The quality of the meat was exceptional, surpassing any we had tasted before, and we were fortunate enough to bring home an ice chest filled with steaks, roasts, and ground meat. We found the meat to be superior to even the wagyu we typically purchase from the grocery store! The host was exceptionally accommodating, and we are certainly looking forward to returning. Thank you for making our visit so memorable!

We drove up to the farm house and thought it was super cute, but walking into the house felt like a warm hug. It was decorated like an actual farm house and had everything needed to cook meals and enjoy time just relaxing after our hiking adventures. The beds were very comfy and the towels were thick and cozy. Additionally, a pound of fresh ground beef and a dozen fresh eggs were waiting in the fridge for us. What a bonus!!! If your family needs a place to kick back after a day of exploring, this is your place!!

My wife and I and our best friends and fellow couple were looking for a centrally located home to stage State Park adventures and area lake fishing trips in a country setting. I must say this place did not disappoint. We visited four State parks and obtain all four stamps in our Arkansas State Parks passport booklets. The parks we visited were Petit Jean State Park, Mount Nebo State Park, Mount Magazine State Park and Lake Dardanelle State. All are must sees. We fished both Lake Atkins and Lake Brewer near Morrilton. This cottage is located on a working cattle farm and was decorated so cute with a farmhouse theme. It was the perfect size to accommodate two couples. Our host was very hospitable and responsive to any questions or needs we had. We truly loved our stay at the farm cottage and are already planning a return trip in the fall.Highly recommended.

This was a great farm house with plenty of amenities! It was actually better than we expected from the pictures and description! My parents loved it and it's location near Petit Jean Mountain was handy. They also loved the farm fresh eggs and ground beef that was in the fridge upon arrival! Highly recommended!

Really nice property to stay at to relax and do things. We went to the state parks to hike, went to Yell Fest and ate out at a number of places. We grilled at the house and the host has some of the best cuts of meat and fresh eggs that you can make arrangements to buy. Altogether, a nice place and wonderful people.

My Husband and I had the best stay ever at this Cozy little cottage! We did a 3 day trip and will definitely book this property again!!! The farm it resides on is super peaceful! The fresh eggs and ground meat were greatly appreciated and enjoyed! We even bought another dozen eggs and various cuts of beef to take home. The cottage had all the amenities to accommodate cooking, as well as lots of great books for reading different types of games, and a fire pit with plenty of firewood and marshmallow holders for roasting. Comfortable beds! Owner responds in a timely manner and it was great meeting her the day we purchased beef and eggs. She was extremely friendly and welcoming. We went to Petit Jean and spent a day hiking. The waterfall was strenuous but well worth the view! We did 3 trails total and the lookout points. It’s a straightforward drive from the property;we spent another day fishing and hitting up the local flea market and a brewery. If you are looking for a quiet place to recharge and enjoy nature this is the spot for you!!!!

My husband and I stayed at the farm cottage after hiking at Petit Jean.

We loved staying on the farm; we felt right at home! We wanted to hike, and this place is close to Mt. Nebo SP, Lake Dardanelle SP, and Petit Jean SP! The cottage was squeaky clean, the bed was comfortable, the decor was charming, and the Grays are the friendliest! There is plenty of room, and we had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend the farm cottage.

Second visit, just as restorative and inspiring as the first. Working on new songs and arrangements with a composer colleague from Canada, and this blissful space helped us get SO much done, along with plenty of rest.

Will definitely stay here again. The perfections base camp between 2 state parks and near a national park as well.

Wonderful older farm home that reminds me of a combination of my parents family homes. Far enough from town to feel somewhat solitary, but close enough to not be inconvenient. A/C was a little questionable, and it took a while to get hot water - but thats an old country home for you. We'll be back.

This place was absolutely amazing

The cottage is really nice. Very clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Check-in was easy and directions were perfect. Great location for visiting the 3 state parks in the area - Petit Jean, Mt Nebo, and Mt Magazine, all of which are awesome. Really appreciated the complimentary eggs and ground beef.

From the moment I drove onto the property to when we opened the door with our code, I fell in love with this property. The house itself is very quaint and then the decor of the house is excellent. The furniture is very comfy, the beds are comfy and then to have eggs already in the fridge was a bonus. It’s a place I could continue to rent for every stay in Arkansas.

Excellent Host !! Outstanding place, view was great ! We will not hesitate to use again ! Hamburger & eggs were a very nice extra ! Down on the Farm very relaxing.. Thanks !! 👍😀👍
