The Fairy Tale Estate

This home is gorgeous and has everything you need. We had a girls trip of 8 people and paid the extra event fee to invite local family and friends. It ended up being 28 people total and everyone fit comfortably. The host and his team are very detail oriented and quick to respond. The home is near lots of shops and eateries as well so you don't need to travel far for anything. Would absolutely stay here again.

Easiest 5-star rating I've given. The home was large enough that our family reunion had moments being shared in different pockets throughout our stay. Kids playing in the grass and on the swing, aunts and uncles hanging in the hot tub, sibling rivalries starting and ending at the basketball hoop around the side, all while meals were being cooked in the nice kitchen and at the backyard grill. Perfect one-stop vacation for our purpose and I'd love to return here for a hang with a group of friends. The only thing I'd recommend folks consider if they are booking is how to pick who's in master bedroom since it was desired by all as it was considerably larger and had the balcony. But hey - I booked this one so I got it :)

We had such a wonderful stay at Paradise! The home was exactly as pictured. The home and decor is so inviting and welcoming. The home is very clean. The labels in the kitchen were a huge help and they have everything imaginable you may need in there. I appreciated the abundance of towels and toilet paper in every bathroom. Also plenty of pillows too! The she shed as we called it, was such a fun little hangout spot. The thoughtfulness and care that was put into the home to create a fun welcoming place to stay was very clear. I truly felt like I was in paradise. We hope to return soon! Thank you!!

Had a great stay! Everything we could need was there. Easy drive to Legoland, Walmart close by, great backyard to relax in. Would definitely recommend it!

Great house we stayed in for a lacrosse tournament with 5 teen boys--plenty of room for everyone and lots of activities to keep them busy when we were not at the fields!

The house was immaculate, absolutely beautiful and exactly like the pictures. The only problem is the terrible communication. Maybe it’s just because I had my wedding here, I’m sure it’s great for just a simple stay. Every message seemed like I was getting a reply from a different person and wouldn’t reply for days sometimes or I’d have to ask the same thing multiple times. There are more things but I’ll leave it out. Overall don’t have a special event here just a simple vacation and it will be amazing.

Wonderful views. Very comfortable home. Well stocked kitchen. We ate most of our meals there. Everything was easy to use. My grandkids (6 year old twin boys and 7 year old grand daughter) were in the pool lots of the time. Quiet neighborhood.

This house was thoughtfully appointed with wonderful amenities. Everyone in our party enjoyed their time here immensely.

The property met all our needs. The backyard was perfect for everyone. Easy and well stocked kitchen helped.

The property was amazing. So many rooms for our group on the inside and plenty of amenities outside to entertain us. If we had one criticism it would be that the pool could use more chaise given the capacity of the home - some of us were not able to lay out in the beautiful California sun.

The property was perfect for us. Great backyard and play equipment for the grandkids. The little scooter was a plus for our granddaughter. Plenty of room for the 8 of us. Easy access to the freeway to get to amusement parks and beach.

This was a nice property with a BEAUTIFUL view. The communication with the owner was very fast. The only thing we noticed was the listing said there would be a gym but didn’t see one. Other than that it was perfect. I will rebook this location the next trip.

Great entertainment place! Just know that it takes about 20 minutes for the hot tub to get hot. The upsatirs 2nd bathroom showet takes a while to get hot and does not have good water pressure. Use the master bedroom shower, works better!

This place is an absolute GEM! My husband and I recently celebrated our Anniversary and wanted a place with a huge backyard for the pups and plenty amenities! This place surpassed our expectations! The place was incredibly immaculate, organized and entertaining! The host was very attentive with any questions and very accommodating! We highly recommend this place and are looking forward to a future stay!

The place is beautiful. The location is quiet and private, even though there are neighbors close by. Easy to travel to shopping and restaurants. Will need a vehicle to get around. Back yard is the best. Grass area and the playground equipment was loved by the grandkids. All of us enjoyed the gas firepit (didn't have to avoid the smoke), used it daily. The pool looks amazing. will have to come back in warmer weather. The kitchen was great for multiple cooks. Especially loved the outdoor grilling kitchen - had some good grills on that! Would recommend having a single coffee cup maker.The extra beds upstairs was great. The day bed with trundle bed was a new adventure for the two little girls.Enjoyed our time there. Thank you for letting our family have a great place to gather together.

Our stay was perfect! No complaints from us. Host communicated very quickly and very descriptive so no confusions. House was super clean and many activities for kids.

Awesome place for family with kids and grandparents…spacious house, well-equipped, comfortable bedding, safe and clean neighborhood, close to shops, beach, nightclubs, church, hiking places. We enjoyed the jacuzzi, the pool table, ping pong and the board games..highly recommended

The house is pacious, updated, well appointed & furnished, clean, comfortable, and safe. Beds are comfortable. Plenty of closet space. Heating and air conditioning operated well. Kitchen is spacious with ample counter space, good lighting.

We had the most amazing time. It was perfect for a group of our size. We have stayed at a lot of properties over the years and this one was by far the best. It has absolutely everything you need. I wish I could give 10 stars. If asked, could they do anything different…I would say look into the internet, it went in and out throughout our stay. For us that was not a huge issue because we were not using it most of the time.

We absolutely loved this place. The back yard and kitchen were a dream. The pool and spa are what we needed after a long day out. Beds were comfortable and the house was beautiful. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Had a lovely time at this vacation rental. The house was wonderful with plenty of space and large master suite. The the outdoor balcony off the master was great for taking in the sunset, having drinks, and watching my kids having fun in the gorgeous pool and hot tub. The backyard space is spacious and the pool/hot tub were amazing and the perfect temp. The backyard was made for fun with a BBQ and fun games to keep you busy. The kitchen was well appointment with all the amenities you would need. The house location was convenient for touring various places near La Costa, Del Mar, La Jolla and San Diego. Highly recommend and would stay again.

House was great, but the best part is the yard. Pool was incredible, but please read the entire listing description as you will have to pay extra to heat the hot tub. The pool fence didn’t lock correctly and encircled just the eating area which was challenging because of the kids wanted to play in the grass/ playground we had to be very aware because the pool was right next to it and unfenced. The fence also wasn’t functioning propey and took some finagling to get to close and lock, with young kids it was tough. The pool deck is also wildly slippery, which again not great for small kids. Otherwise be prepared to purchase bottled water as the filter on the fridge didn’t work and the tap made a few of our guests sick. The WiFi also worked intermittently unfortunately and was very slow.

Very expensive, it did not live up to the description. I had talked to the owner about making sure the heater was on in the pool and Jacuzzi. It was not! Only one of the two showers have hot water. Several of the toys were broken all in all it was just a disappointment.

Great location.. near Carlsbad village and the beach. The home is beautiful… very clean and well stocked with everything you need. Perfect for families! We had such a wonderful time.

Lovely place and a quick hop to the beach. There's a grocery store handy, as well as a lot of place to get take out. We enjoyed all of the outdoor perks like the pool, hot tub, ping pong, the swings, and a great outdoor dining area. If it's available when we head to Oceanside again, we'd definitely go back.
