Stayed Oct 13, 2025Bummer our Sequoia day was a winter storm, but the house have a cozy living room for movies and popcorn and we were able to buy a boxed cake mix and make the most of it. My bigger kids loved the room so far away from us, haha and the enclosed patio was devine. I'd come back when we try to see Sequoia again, just for the patio and stream access

Stayed Aug 10, 2025Very comfortable and well-stocked home. We hit a heat wave, so we’re grateful for the excellent AC. Minh was very responsive. Mouse trap caught two little field mice in the dining room during our stay. Enjoyed proximity to Sequoias and Kings Canyon.

Stayed Aug 3, 2025Our family of five enjoyed our stay at the Fairy Stream's House. It was close to Sequoia/King's Canyon and provided us with everything we needed to have a safe and quiet place to return after long days exploring. The backyard was relaxing for sitting and reading and our daughter enjoyed a night sleeping in the hammock in the screened-in porch. Thanks for the nice stay!

Stayed Jul 19, 2025Charming house and property. The kitchen is well equipped, the bedrooms are spacious and the yard, deck, porch and stream create an enjoyable outdoor experience. Very near Sequoia National Park and about 2 1/2 hours from Yosemite. Grocery store and restaurants nearby.

Stayed Jun 11, 2025Great location near the south entry to Sequoia National Park. The river was fairly full, great to listen to, but not overbearing. Some of the mattresses could be updated based on companion feedback. You must take your shoes off. No private bathrooms and a tad bit on the small side. It was nice that we did not have to pull bedding used, etc. Which made it feel like a vacation not a chore.

Stayed May 29, 2025This was the perfect place for us to stay for 4 days as we visited Sequoia and Kings canyon National parks. There is a beautiful river running right behind the home. The house is very clean and well kept and feels like a wonderful home to live in. The area was nice and easy to get to the parks. The owner was very nice and communicated with us answering all our needs. We will be back for sure. Troy and Alisha Johnson

Stayed Jan 1, 2025We visited this sweet quite home with the family. We had a great time. It was welcoming after a long drive back from Sequoia National Park. The place was clean, yet had a strong smell of cleaning agents. Take note of you

Stayed Dec 28, 2024Lovely stay, beautiful setting, and a polite, communicative owner. This listing was definitely as advertised, which may not sound like high praise, but it is intended as such. In this era of online listings, it's increasingly hard to feel confident you'll get what you see. But in this case, we felt like the property might even have undersold itself slightly. The pictures don't really do it justice. The reality of staying in Three Rivers is that it's a bit of a haul into the most famous areas of Sequoia National Park (the park entrance itself isn't far, but then you have to drive a good distance in to the most famous groves), but that's not specific to this property. And with this home, we felt the property itself was really deeply peaceful and connected to nature. The kids had as much fun around the house as they did in the park, and we loved Sequoia. The kitchen and bathrooms are slightly dated in terms of decor, but both are clearly kept up thoughtfully and with pride, and that is extremely important. This is not some vacation rental being cashed in on by a big company, but a home truly being cared for. It was even festively decorated for the holidays. Highly recommend.

Stayed Jul 27, 2024This was a truly beautiful property with a great location! My kids enjoyed the fantastically maintained grounds as well as the natural beauty of the creek. As noted, reception is spotty through here but the WiFi works great. Make sure you have your information ready before you arrive.

Stayed Jul 17, 2024It was a wonderful experience, after traveling and a couple of hotel stays with five children. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief to be at the Fairy Stone house. It was clean, stocked with basic items that was so helpful. The beds were so comfortable, the air conditioning was perfect. The neighborhood was quiet, we felt very safe at the house and just peacefilled our hearts when we entered. Truly a blessed place, highly recommend!

Stayed Jun 24, 2024Our family of 6 found this property perfect for our needs. Kids/teens ages 17, 14, 11, and 8 had plenty of space to relax and everyone had their own bed. The location was very convenient to Sequoia NP where we spent most of our time. The grocery store was only a 5 minute drive and had everything you could need. The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed to make dinners at home since there aren’t a lot of options to dine out. The river out back was beautiful in the early summer. A true hidden gem!

Stayed Jun 5, 2024My husband and I along with my sister and college age son stayed at this property near Sequoia National Park. The home had plenty of room and a nice outdoor setting although we spent very little time outside because temps were 100 degrees in early June. The beds were comfortable and clean. The kitchen had many items stocked, but some things were a little beat up and the pots and pans cabinets were unorganized. During our stay there was an area wide power outage. Without power we had no lights, air conditioning, no running water, and no communication since there is no cell signal and the wifi was also out during loss of power. The power was out about 14 hours. This is definitely not the home owners fault, but also something that could affect someone who stays there when there’s a power outage. There was no apparent reason why the town lost power. We very much enjoyed out time in Sequoia NP and Kings Canyon NP (where it was cooler at higher elevations). The location was very convenient to the parks.
