The Fairway Retreat at Vista del Verde

The house was perfect for our extended family. We had 14 people, ages 1-70 and everyone had adequate space for comfort. The kids really enjoyed the pool table and the outdoor games. We would definitely recommend this house for any large gathering!

My now husband & I got married in La Jolla & chose this house based on how close it was to the ceremony site, as well as it being big enough for our family of 11 to have space & stay together. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood, checking in easy was very easy & being able to use the garage was a major plus. Inside & out the house was beautiful providing every amenity we could need, being outside on the patio deck was everyone’s favorite place to be- especially being in the hot tub & pool! The owners were communicative answering any questions we had & resolving any matter.Our family had the best time here & we created a very memorable trip for our special day.

This is an amazing property to stay at the pictures are accurate and the detail in the space is thoughtful. The house is well taken care of and there are lots of amenities and space. It is in a very quiet neighborhood so just be mindful when deciding if this is the place for you! I would definitely return. We had a five star experience

We had an incredible stay at this San Diego property! The location was perfect—close to plenty of dining options and just a short drive to the Gaslamp District. The house itself was spacious and welcoming, with comfortable bedrooms that made everyone feel at home. The real highlight was the amazing backyard—having a pool made it the ultimate hangout spot and really impressed all of my guests. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and convenient San Diego getaway!

Beautiful property, great pool, tons of space with good bedrooms for many adults.

We stayed for my sister's bachelorette. The rooms were comfortable, the house was clean and the backyard was the perfect spot for us to all hang out.

This property was everything and more as described in the posting. We recently had a large group of friends together for the weekend. Everything was fantastic - The pool, hot tub, accessibility/location, sleeping arrangements, etc. The owner stayed communicative throughout our entire stay and was extremely accomodating and kept the property maintained and clean.I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a great week/weekend.

There were 14 of us who stayed in this house and everyone had a great time! The property is in a great location with very easy freeway access. After days filled with endless walking aT all the San Diego attractions, it was great to come home to the swimming pool, which the kids in our group used everyday. Highly recommend!

A large group of us stayed for 4 nights and had an excellent time. Property was clean and exactly as advertised. Great spot for group gatherings, would absolutely consider next time I’m in town.

We absolutely loved this property! The pool and hot tub were just what we needed for our group. The house was clean and well furnished, and the property manager was prompt and helpful. Will definitely stay here again when we return to San Diego!!

This was the best rental house we’ve ever stayed at. A lot of intentionality and attention to detail. The furniture didn’t seem cheap. The decorations didn’t seem like they were pulled from the dumpster outside the dollar store. The design and layout felt like a normal house. And the house itself had everything you could want. We canceled our plans on the last day just to stay at the house. Highly recommend.

Great place for our group of 15. The house is well laid out for everyone to be together or go to their separate spaces. We had toddlers, children, teens, and adults and everyone was happy. The gated pool was chilly but the kids still got in some. There were plenty of pool toys and games on the deck. We enjoyed grilling out and sitting in the sun while the kids played. I really appreciated that they had all sizes of life jackets and puddle jumpers for little ones. There are beach chairs which was nice as we spent one day at the beach. The house is located so that it take about 15 - 20 minutes to get to everything. We went to the Zoo, SeaWorld, Old Town, and the beach at Kellogg Park/ La Jolla(which is very kid friendly.) We had a reservation with a house on a different site but it was cancelled within a week of our stay. We are thankful this house was available as it worked out even better!
