The Eyrie - coastal retreat

Clean, well equipped, and close to amenities. Very comfortable stay.

Great place, lovely surrounds, great host! Kangaroos at the bottom of the garden on sunset and great base to visit the national park.

Loved it, clean, comfy and welcoming. Tasteful decor, great books and games, close to the Tavern which we also loved.

Positive:Location, location, location.5min to the beach, 5min to Innes NP, 5min to Marion Bay Tavern & General Store.Negative:90s vibe. Everything, apart from the bathroom, gives you the vibe of an OP shop. The usage is visible, the beds are saggy, there are holes in the walls from door handles etc. The owner probably hasn't been there in years. We had a good time anyways. It was clean, we had everything we needed und the location was super handy!

The Eyrie was a wonderful place from which to explore this amazing part of South Australia. Loved staying up 'in the trees' and enjoying the view.Our host was accessible, friendly and helpful ... especially when I 'lost' the key to the house. Fortunately this was found again.

We really enjoyed the house and found it very homely with everything we needed. It was a quick walk down to the beach and very close to the National Park. We would definitely stay again.

House was located very close to Innes National Park. Kitchen was more than well equipped, lounges and beds comfortable . Deck was great for relaxing in the sunshine.

Spacious and comfortable house great location. 5 min walk to gorgeous beach. Great to bring pets. Needs some new kitchengear but otherwise great.

The house was great, the beach was fantastic and the whole holiday was just what our family needed.It was wonderful to be able to bring our dog too.We will be back!We will visit again soon

Clean, spacious, private.Second time staying at this property. It has everything you need for a lovely holiday.

Good location near the beach and quite a spacious property with an outside deck area. The facilities were ok but it was quite dusty. For example: dusty wine glasses, the inside of drawers, wardrobes. There was also dog hair on the sofa.The main issue for us is that we ran out of water within the first 24 hours of a 4-day booking. We called the host who tried to get a water delivery but it could not be guaranteed for some days. As we could no longer flush the toilet, use the taps, cook, wash-up etc… we needed to find something else or take the 6-hour journey home. Fortunately, we did find another property but as we needed something that day, our choices were very limited, and it cost us considerably more.The host has provided a refund for our original booking.

Just had 5 great nights at this property in Marion Bay.The property is extremely well presented and equiped!Our friends are on holiday with us from the Uk and have thoroughly enjoyed it.Close to all amenities. Would definitely book again.Highly recommended. Love the Yorkes!

Balcony areas provide a great viewing platform over native vegetation. Easy walk to Willyama Beach access staircase, short walk to Penguin Lookout for those who are fit, and an easy drive to the Tavern and shop. Can't see the inland salt lake anymore due to the area being built up, and native vegetation growth. But, not withstanding, it is set in a lovely native bush garden setting, and Marion Bay area has lots to explore. Pet friendly, although I didn't trust that my teeny pooch would not push through the upright balcony rails . Easily fixed with a leash, and tether loop to the sturdy outdoor dining table.

We loved the art gallery and coffee shop down the street, Steve was such a nice guy. The house was nice, but very, very dusty. Those steps were a killer for us over 70’s, don’t think we’ll stay there again. We’ll be a year older next time, lol.

The house in Marion bay was excellent, everything was there that we needed.The owner was easy to contact and very helpful. Very close to the national park which was what we wanted. I would certainly recommend this property.

Myself and 5 others comfortably stayed in this accommodation on our 3 night stay. Perfect location to access national park, look outs and various other things to see and do in and around Marion bay. House was comfy, clean and easy to organise. Will be staying here again in the future!

Very nice, comfortable, and proper place to stay, for me and others. Yes! 9 adults are comfortably fit in! The Eyrie got everything you ask for, to accommodate an enjoyable trip in Marion Bay. And thank you for Cecilia, very nice and generous host!

Came to get away from Adelaide, Do some Australian Salmon Fishing.. Spend time with the kids before Uni life takes over again. Had a lovely relaxing time .. enjoying the amazing sunsets off the back deck. Highly recommended the stay

Overall it was nice stay at the property not far from national park, good for kids as they enjoyed the stay and loved the board games.Love to be back.

I just love this property for my trips down Marion Bay. Great addition having the fishing cleaning station.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Only feedback would be to supply some more cleaning products. We were left a little short on dishwashing gear but overall great house, location and experience
