The Drake - Historic Home with Swag

Very nice home, comfortable and clean. Had everything we needed.

Our stay was cozy and comfy! We loved feeling right at home while going through a stressful time!

Overall good place to short stay good neighborhood but few things need to be addressed in this property, 1. There are no locks in both restrooms, 2. Most of the door handles are not working, if you try to pull the door those handles will come off, 3. Very poor supply of water , you can’t use both showers same time. Achut & family Dallas

The Drake is a lovely and spacious property in the beautiful neighborhood of Dundee in Omaha. It is in close proximity to downtown, the Jocelyn Art Museum, and many other attractions. Tahnee was prompt and diligent in responding to all of my communications. Check-in was simple and seamless. We could not have been happier with our choice for a home base to spend a weekend in Omaha. I give it my highest recommendation. Thank you to Tahnee and AJ.

Nice house in a convenient location for access to most of Omaha within 15 minutes. We made several trips to the airport which is a straight shot down the street from this house. There is a big grocery store about 4 blocks away, a trendy area with cafes/shops about six blocks in a different direction. Super nice location. Big older house with comfortable beds, comfortable furniture and big TV (for watching the game) and six person dining room table we used both spending time with family. There is a nice selection of cooking pots/pans/utensils we used each day making breakfast for the group. We had a really nice stay.There were some other reviews that complained about the water pressure. It’s an old house type water pressure - in that pressure was there but not tons of flow. The showers were fine for me, the vegetable sprayer on the sink is sticky with the low flow but worked OK (and just use the dishwasher).Heads up being an older house not all the receptacles are 3-prong, the bedrooms were all 2-prong. Wasn’t a problem but you might want to pack an adapter. This is part of the charm!Owner has done a really nice job making this a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. Really appreciated it.

This is a comfortable property near Elmwood Park and the Dundee area.

The host was very nice and easy to work with. The home was clean. Beds were very comfy. TV offered lots of choices to stream. Convenient location to grocery stores and restaurants. Bathrooms were updated. We would recommend and stay here again.

The property was exactly as listed. Very clean, very comfortable. Sweet little back deck space that's fairly private. The neighborhood is quiet and cute. The hosts were kind and responded well to my questions. I would definitely stay here again.

To start I need to say I own a home in the neighborhood that I'm renting now, so I needed a place for us and our family. The home is on one of the busier streets in Dundee, but it's manageable. Parking can be an issue if you have several cars. The home wasn't very clean. Dishes were dirty, there was lots of dirt/dust under the beds and dirty towels from the previous guest in the basement laundry. The showers have terrible water pressure, the owners had a plumber come out 3 times, but it didn't change anything. That was a disappointment. The space is comfortable, with a comfortable deck and plenty of space for entertaining. The kitchen has very basic essentials that you need, but not much else. Nothing high end considering the premium price you pay. The small 4 cup coffee pot was left dirty, and the other nicer coffee machine didn't work. They did replace that one quickly which was appreciated. I'd like to say better things about our stay. The home served us well for what we needed, but, given the premium price I feel like we were let down with the overall quality of the place.

It was just as described. We came into town to visit Zoo with our grandkids. Nice area outback to sit and enjoy the weather. Would stay here again if in the area.

The house is old, but has updated decor. The floors are squeaky, none if the doors have locks, but overall we were very happy with our stay.
