Cute little cottage with fenced yard! Perfect for quick getaway. More importantly I forgot an expensive shirt and the host was so kind in making sure I revived the shirt back and overnighted it to me! Top notch host!

I regret having to write this review but the property manager refused my request for a full nights credit out of 3 nights rental because for the 1st 2 nights of our stay there were various bugs in the bathroom. Clearly the bottom of the tub was not caulked properly, allowing for bug entry. While my wife was having surgery at Duke,I had to leaveWith my dog and rent a room at the Hampton Inn at additional cost. She did have an exterminator come, but perhaps that should have happened before our stay.I am a long time VRBO user and have never left a negative review, but I find the managers refusal to do what’s rightinexcusable. It’s been a week since our stay and we have no resolution.

Great location, just outside of downtown and its surrounded by great restaurants. We stayed here to be close to the ritz, we had a xoupke of shows back to back so it made things very easy. The house is definitely cozy. I would love to be able to stay here again.

We typically travel with our three small dogs, making dog-friendliness one of the most important things we look for in a house. We were misled, ended up getting a refund, cancelled all of our weekend travel plans and drove home an hour after we arrived.- If marked as pet-friendly and featuring a fenced-in yard, it should be shared that there is no exterior door to the fenced in area. To get your dogs into the yard you have to leash them, carry them, or trust them to not run off.- The fence is in disrepair. The bottom has such a big gape that there is firewood blocking it off to fill in the gaps. The slats in the gate are loose; you barely had to touch it for them to fall apart.- The backyard isn’t maintained. Most is covered in dirt and the rest is full of brush and vines that don’t appear to have been trimmed in some time. - The exterior door in the kitchen has a crack big enough that sunlight comes through.- The bathroom has uneven, stained floors and dirty/cracked grout, and while we were on the property, we were killing ants in there.- While we were making plans to leave, our dogs found 3 or 4 half-chewed rawhide bones. Some under the couch, some next to it, and honestly not sure where they found the rest. It’s questionable how well the house gets cleaned. We received an immediate refund. However, afterwards, the home went back up for rent immediately regardless of the reported issues. We hope the owner decides to make some changes for future renters.

The property was clean, well equipped, and beautiful. It is located closed to many restaurants and great shopping. The host contacted us to make sure everything was ok. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We recently spent a week at this charming little home and had a wonderful experience. The house, was exactly as shown in the pictures and full of character. We encountered a minor issue with the oven hood range upon arrival, but the host addressed it promptly and was very kind and responsive. Similarly, an issue with the oven door was resolved quickly. The bedrooms were spacious, and the house was well-equipped with everything we needed. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful extras like laundry detergent, fabric softener, a few rolls of toilet paper, and paper towels. The location was fantastic, with downtown and other amenities just a short drive away—never more than 10 minutes. The couch was very comfortable, and the beds were supportive, though on the firmer side. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt completely safe throughout our stay. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

We were in town for Galaxycon Raleigh att the convention center and this was a super convenient home base. Plenty of room for our cosplayers to get ready. Comfy, cute house in a great quiet neighborhood. Host was very communicative.

Pros: Stacy is great! The house is in a great location (quiet, safe neighborhood that is close to everything) and has excellent water pressure and a comfy king sized bed. Cons: The fenced in yard needs care as does the outside of the house which is full of dust and cobwebs. Both are fixable and I believe will be taken care of soon. I enjoyed my stay nonetheless and Stacy is really nice and a good and prompt communicator. Would return! Thanks!
