The Cottage on Lakeview…Lake Missaukee views…Steps from the beach!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cute yellow cottage on Lakeview. It was extremely clean and modern, had a lovely kitchen with a view of the lake across the street and was well stocked, including spices, oils, and a cupboard with tea, coffee and hot chocolate. The neighbors were friendly, always waving as we sat on the front porch or walking down the street. The garage/extra living space was also nice for remote work and hanging out when it was windy out front. A close drive to Lake City where we had a yummy lunch at Hammer’s, ice cream at the Tasty Treat, good bourbon and service at BowRight.

Very nice and clean home. You can tell the owner does a wonderful job organizing and keeping up with this house. The surrounding area was beautiful. We didn’t do much in the area due to a family reunion but I can imagine a family would really enjoy their stay and the lake access. I would highly recommend renting this amazingly clean home.

A beautiful cottage very close to the water with beach access. The cottage was very clean and well kept and fit all of our family’s needs. We will definitely be staying here again!

Property was everything we needed for a quick weekend getaway for golf and relaxation. Would definitely consider staying here again. Lake City was a nice little town and the property was very close to Cadillac as well!

The house was perfect for our needs. The rest of our family was staying at a house on Lake Missaukee. It was so nice to have this lovely, quiet house to hang out in. Very thoughtful touches like water bottles in the 2nd refrigerator.

The Cottage on Lakeview is an absolute gem. We loved our stay. The house was incredibly clean and filled with amenities. It had everything we needed for a nice relaxing vacation in Lake City. The community was so polite and quiet. The beach access was perfect for hours of reading a book with the sand between your toes and the giant front porch was the best place to sip a fresh cup of coffee in the morning while looking at the lake between the houses. Can’t recommend the property enough and we can’t wait to visit again!

Everything was new and clean. Was very well stocked with everything we could need. We really enjoyed our stay. The location to Lake Missaukee, and other Family members was perfect.

Everything was exactly as described! Beautiful house inside and out! Communication was excellent! Great location and would highly recommend as well as would book again when in the area!
