Stayed Apr 13, 2018The Corn Store was just as the pictures showed. It’s a pretty Cottage in a peaceful location with many local amenities. We only had a few days but felt we had seen and done a lot. The cottage itself was very comfortable, the dining area sat five of us around the kitchen table and there were plenty of comfy chairs in the sitting area for after supper. We used the garden table on the back terrace for tea one day and it was a real sun trap. The bathroom to bedroom ratio was excellent and all beds very comfortable. We had a 10 month old baby in the party and the travel cot and high chair were much appreciated although a non slip mat in the bath would have been really helpful. The kitchen was pretty well equipped although with 4 cooks staying and no sign of a ‘ ready meal’ - a few more cooking utensils and serving dishes would have been brilliant. But all in all we had a really wonderful stay in your charming cottage.
