When we arrived the internet wasn’t working… and with three teenagers, that was a problem. The host was out of town and the problem solving was left to a third party. After a day and a half of asking for help, we were told that the problem was with our phone(s). We asked them to contact the wireless provider and have them send out a technician. A day later the technician came by and told us that the problem was with the home’s router (not our phones), but he didn’t have one and that we would need to go buy one if we wanted internet. We told the third party and that night the technician came back and installed a new router… just before we left at 10am the next morning. We were told that we would receive a credit, but have heard nothing from anyone associated with the home.Very bad experience!

Met all of our needs. Close to everywhere we wanted to go in Southern Pines, Pinherst, and Mid Pines. Close to drive to Tobbaco Road. Seemed like maybe needed a little end of season deep clean (Pillows on chairs, basket of blankets in living room, box on carport with trash and pack of cigarettes, the back porch had not been cleaned before our arrival)but the house is very organized and generally clean. You can tell they take care of the property.

The home is nicly furnished and comfortable. It was basically very clean, however a few items had that end of season need to be washed/cleaned (example, the off-white pillows need a run through the washer to remove stains/spots) impression. We loved how everything was labeled and it is very well stocked. I loved that we could leave our perishables in hopes that someone will eat what we didn't;t get to eat. We had treaveled 6 hours each was so taking the items we didn't consume wasn't possible. Maybe you take things to a food shelter or maybe you are just keeping the dogs from getting into the trash, We watched the start of college football, golfed, ate at Vitos (and met Vito), Ashtens, The Sly Fox, and enjoyed downtown Southern Pines. My husband and I traveled from Knoxville for a little golf/family reunion getaway. We spent time with my sibling, neice, nephew and his girlfriend. We hadnt been together in two and a half years. We were blessed with good weather.

Came for US Kids week, great house for the Talamore Course or Pine Needles. Quiet street, nice remodel, covered parking, covered rear patio. Excellent water pressure, comfy beds, big TVs with streaming. Door code is emailed to you automatically 2 hrs prior, so don’t worry ! Big front yard, very close to grocery store & Jersey mikes! (6mins). About 11 mins to the parade, 18 mins to Legacy. Pro tip: AC vents are all along the floor, make sure you check and ensure they aren’t closed or blocked! Prev guest closed them and we were there during a heat wave, found it early, slid the notch and it opened right up! Got down to 70 easily after that. Master shower is a good size but the bathroom is a bit tight. House worked great for us, child, and grandparents! Has a Keurig for Pods and Regular pot coffee. Owner was very nice and friendly.

We stayed here for a horse show that was down the road. It’s about 22 minute drive to Carolina Horse Park. There’s a brand new Harris Teeter with a Starbucks inside of it, 5 minutes from the house. The house was comfortable.

Everything was as advertised.. great spot and value. Would have liked the check in information prior to after check in, but that would be my only complaint. Very happy overall

The location is perfect for exploring the Sandhills region. The house is probably awesome for a short stay, but for a whole week with kids we wished we had access to a vacuum or full-size broom. We also had to buy household supplies because the 1 dishwasher tablet, 4 total rolls of TP, half roll of paper towels, and 2 trash bags weren’t enough for a whole week with a family of 5 (again, probably not a problem for a shorter stay, but we’ve never had this experience with any of the other short-term rentals we’ve done). We had to contact VRBO customer support to get our check-in info from the host because it was only an hour before check-in, we were on the road with tired kids, and the host still wasn’t responding to multiple messages that I had sent hours before requesting the door code (usually we get check-in info either early in the morning or the day before from the host, and I’ve never had to contact customer support to badger a host into sending me the door code an hour before check-in). The host was more responsive later in the week when we had a question about the trash and when replacing the broken toaster. Overall a nice house, but not above and beyond in any way. We probably wouldn’t choose to stay here again, though our experience was largely fine.

We had an enjoyable weekend. Overall it was a great stay and convenient to any activities. The house was clean and well equipped. Kitchen was very nice with upgraded appliances. The bathrooms were nice with a great shower in the primary. No major complaints. Host was responsive to any questions. Future upgrade possibilities would be living room furniture and pillows for all of the beds.

Nicely appointed home. Easy to get everywhere you need to quickly in the Pinehurst area. Only knock is the memory foam beds were harder than we would prefer.
