'The Castle' Hacienda Heights Home w/ Patio & Pool

My family and I loved staying here. It is truly an oasis. Communication with the owners/managers was great! They were flexible and quick to respond. I highly recommend this beautiful castle :)

This was our 2nd Thanksgiving at The Castle. It was even better this year because of the new oven/range. Two large ovens and two sets of stove tops. Induction technology so don't bring your own pans if they are not magnetic. They also supply lots of towels and paper goods. I hate it when owners are skimpy with those. We slept eight but had three more over for Thanksgiving dinner. Wonderful to have space to gather family. The back yard is fenced, so our dogs did fine. There are also wonderful hikes that start just outside the front gate. We'll be back again.Kim

Amazing! The Castle is absolutely beautiful! It is so spacious and feels like home. Kitchen is well stocked with all the equipment you need. Beds are comfortable and there are extra sheets and blankets. Lots and lots of towels. The pool is relaxing and clean. Very well cared for. Nick is the most amazing host. Great communication before during and after! View is breath taking. There was a problem with the electrical outlets in the kitchen but Nick told us in advance and even offered to send an electrician right away. We LOVED our stay! Did I mention how awesome Nick was!!!!

The property is true to photos. awe stayed for a retreat and it had a great vibe and plenty of space.Nick was very easy to reach and responsive. Check in and out was very easy

Quite simply, it was stunning, inside and out. It felt like an old-timey Hollywood home where you could almost visualize a fancy party happening around the pool. The rooms were large and roomy, the bedrooms were comfortable, the pool area was great for hanging out, the kitchen was fully stocked, and the view was amazing. Nick, the property contact, was one of the best and highly responsive to all of our needs. The property is at the top of a windy hill, so I would advise arriving during the day to get a lay of the land. There is also no fence around the pool to keep an eye on the little ones.

I came from Florida with 10 friends including myself and the property was beautiful. It was perfect size for my group and we had plenty of room. I will say that the constant up and down the mountain was a lot for my group, but we are all from Florida and are used to very flat land. I will say at night, there are no street lights on the mountain and it’s very dark. Our Ubers would speed, and it was terrifying. So if you could rent a car, that would probably be best. Besides that, the view from the top was stunning and the host was very nice and checked in on us via text mid trip to see if we needed anything.

My Bridal party stayed here for my wedding weekend. This house is so beautiful and unique every room has a different personality and its truly such an amazing property. The property manager Nick was so helpful with everything. We will be back for sure! Thanks again!

So unique!! Nick, property manager, was super communicative and helpful. House was well stocked with all kitchen and linen items needed. Our seven adult family members really enjoyed the very private pool. Views of the city from all sides are incredible from the 1200' altitude. Roads to get there are not flat or straight, but the small pain was worth the big gain. Will definitely stay there again if in LA!!

Ever want to live like a 1950’s movie star? Let your imagination run wild between this mission style home, the gorgeous pool, and if you are really lucky the smog will get blown away revealing the mountain range out every window.

We have loved this property, it was clean, had everything we needed including coffee, plenty of towels, lots of dishes, even hair mask (!), clean pool which we didn't get to use due to our schedule. I would 1000% recommend this property to anyone looking to stay near the area.
