Stayed Jul 26, 2025We had great stay at this home. Homeowner was kind to work with and pictures accurate. Mattresses comfortable and linens in good shape. Great little cubby with toddler bed/mattress surprise. Property has everything you may need - just over pack TP and paper towels (which is true for every rental.)

Stayed Jul 27, 2024We have stayed at many rentals in Lakeside. This is one of the best. Great location, big yard, and unique property. Owners were attentive to all of our needs and readily available. Also, plenty of parking. Perfect for groups of 6-8.

Stayed Jun 1, 2024Long-time Lakeside renters, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Castle with one exception. There weren't any empty shelves or drawers in the kitchen for us to use to store our own supplies, so the counters were filled up in the small kitchen during our stay. The owners are very generous to let you use their things, but there's just too much there to make it comfortable for the additional things renters bring. Other than that, a delight! (Particularly happy for having very comfortable beds!)

Stayed May 20, 2023Our annual cousin trip was exceptional because of staying in this Castle! The home was clean, comfortable and close to beautiful views of Lake Erie. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lakeside and would highly recommend it to anyone. The access to ferries for both islands was close and there are many activities right in town. We felt like queens...

Stayed Oct 18, 2022Nicely furnished. Well supplied. Excellent internet. Excellent appliances. Colorful fall trees in mid-late October. Hosts clearly want clients to be happy. Very nice accommodations for 6 to 8.
