Parking was good. Walk to Taos Plaza easy. We were surprised that there was no kitchen a dorm size refrigerator, and no toaster. The bath towels are nice and thick!

This little casita felt peaceful and lovely. I was so pleased to find a rental with a bathtub for private soaking and it even had a skylight overhead! Perfect for a personal retreat and located 2 blocks from the plaza, shops, and fine dining if you want that, as well.

Our stay at the Casita was very cozy. Description were very accurate and it is perfect for a couple and 1 child. Access to Taos plaza was walking distance and easy. Will definitely recommend staying here.

Very cozy casita - great alternative to a hotel room. The place was charming - great art on the walls The location was outstanding - short walk to the Taos plaza and other shoppibng/dining areas. We were disappointed that the whirlpool tub was broken.

Smelled terrible of cleaning products, my husband couldn’t breathe. Had to check out quickly due to an emergency back at home and forgot a few items.

Delightful place that is a good location for plaza area access with thoughtful extras in the room that made it homey. Host was very welcoming and accommodating. Host was also extremely responsive when we had a small issue getting one of the heaters to function- came over and resolved it quickly. Would say only downsides that would make it closer to 4.5 stars is that unfortunately the water was just hot enough for an acceptable shower but not hot enough to take advantage of the large jetted tub that I was looking forward to and the sofa a bit less than supportive. Note that if you follow original directions there is a VERY tight street entry and turn not easy to navigate but the next street over has a school parking lot that is much easier to drive through to access the parking next to the casita. I think that would have been good for the host to note for future guests that might have a larger vehicle or challenges maneuvering in tight spaces.

WE stayed at this cute casita in Oct.2025. So clean and close to downtow. This was not during ski season. Cute town and lots of great reastaurants and shops.

We loved the Casita. It was cozy, well equipped, easy walking to Taos Plaza and several restaurants.

From the listing I expected the bed to be better. Turns out it is a pretty old uncomfortable mattress. Other than that, nice little casita.

Cute little casita within walking distance to historic downtown.

Cozy little cottage in the thick of Taos! It was a little slice of calm in a busy little town. Place was clean and nicely decorated. Bed was so comfy we drifted right off to sleep. No kitchen, but had a fridge to keep our drinks cold and a coffee pot and creamers supplied. When we come back for a longer stay, we should look into some of the other accommodations in this building so we can supply our own breakfasts.

We really enjoyed the stay. The property lived up to its billibg -- it's cute, comfortable, and close to everything in Taos.

We LOVED the casita and it's location, very convenient to the Plaza. It's a charming place with everything you need, lots of little extras included like coffee, creamer in the fridge, all the soaps and shampoo, paper products, etc.The patio is an awesome place to unwind with a glass of wine and it's amazingly quiet, especially given that you're not far from all the activities. The patio garden is pretty and peaceful. If you stay there take a look at the guest book. We particularly enjoyed reading what some wrote during the Covid lockdown.Thank you Kent and Angela for making this beautiful little oasis an option for travelers to Taos.

Perfect little casita for our week in Taos. It is small but had all the necessities. Checking in and out was a breeze. It was quiet and within walking distance to the plaza. There was no kitchen, but there is a microwave and a mini frig. The casita has its own private patio area along with a larger beautiful outdoor sitting garden shared with the other guests. The grounds are lovely.

Perfect stay - we liked having our own little secluded patio. We parked the car and walked everywhere - really easy walk to the square and restaurants.

My husband and I enjoyed our short stay. The casita was comfortable, clean, cool and a great place to relax after a full summer day in Taos. The courtyard was a quiet and beautiful spot to sit and listen to the birds. Walking to our favorite restaurants and watering holes was easy and safe. The host was quick to answer questions about operating the TV and the WiFi was much appreciated. We'd stay again when visiting Taos.

We stayed in Casita D with its own designated parking. Within three blocks to historic town plaza. Lovely garden and private outdoor seating area. The inside is very cozy and decorated very New Mexican. Kingsize bed was comfortable, shower/jacuzzi was very nice. Kiva fireplace just for looks, freezer of refrigerator doesn’t freeze enough to make ice cubes.

Casita was quite charming and just what we needed as were in town for a wedding and needed a home base. Easy walk each day to the plaza for restaurants, shopping and coffee. The small private patio was a nice extra.

This is a very nice place, especially if you want to be near the square. The patio is a great place to relax.

We were very pleased with with our stay in Casita D, a stand-alone unit. When you walk through the door you enter a sitting room with a loveseat sofa, coffee maker with ground coffee and creamers in the small refrigerator. There were snacks and a microwave as well. There were lists of restaurants nearby with the distance from the Casita noted. The king size bed was very comfortable. The location is an easy walk to the plaza and restaurants.

Cute casita with lovely artwork. Close to town, good parking, nice outdoor space. Living room is small, with small furniture, but it has a bar fridge, microwave, coffee pot, like a hotel room. The comfy king bed has nice linens and pillows and leaves plenty of room in the nice sized bedroom. It has the large TV easy to see from bed. Huge tub and shower in a spacious bathroom. My husband became ill, and we didn't stay long, but prior to that it was a pleasant stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at the casita and would definitely stay here again. The jacuzzi feature didn't work, but it was still a really nice soaking tub.

We'd like to come back to this brightly colored, lovely, quiet, convenient, clean casita. We walked to dinner and drove a short distance to hike the gorge. Louisa was very helpful and quickly responded to an internet question.

Perfect cozy location to Taos Plaza!

Such a cute place and more room and storage than expected. It was a quick walk into town for shopping and food and an easy drive up to the mountains to ski. Enjoyed the extra touch of having coffee and a few snacks for us. We will definitely stay again when it’s warmer so we can enjoy the patio next time.

The casita was the perfect size and location for exploring Taos getting some laps in at the Ski Valley! The host provided detailed instructions on parking and getting the key from the lockbox- couldn’t have been more seamless. Pro tip- take the parking spot next to the casita so other cars wont pull in late at night!

The property had nicely done Southwest character and was very clean. It was conveniently located two blocks from the plaza and we did lots of walking.The refrigerator was great for keeping beverages and snacks in and the coffee tasted great too!Bathtub was nice for soaking in as I did get sore from so much walking !

We stayed in the Casita unit on this property. Cozy place for a couple to hang out for a few days. Easy walking distance to the downtown Plaza area, restaurants, and other attractions in the heart of Taos. Didn’t have any communication with the property mgr, but didn’t need to. The Jacuzzi unit didn’t work, but everything else onsite was just as described. Very enjoyable stay.

My Sister and I stayed three nights and enjoyed walking to convenient shopping, restaurants, etc. and love ties in general. I would suggest anyone walking into town should cut through the parking lot of the school behind the Casita. The patio was lovely, but we weren’t able to use it as much as we thought plan to use because there was so much to do. So next time we’re going to plan an extra day just to use the patio and outside space. Next time we will plan to spend a day just in the outdoor space. For the chillier nights, it would be wonderful if there was a fire pit on the patio. Thanks for a great day.

We had to leave due to a health issue. The casita was very comfortable with lots of storage in the bathroom and luggage racks in the bedroom. Only complaint….flat pillows. The drive into the casita is very tight and if parking adjacent to it recommend pulling your mirrors in. Owner Left a nice list of restaurants (we liked the Farmhouse (open 9 to 3). And The Trading Post Market in El Prada that is always open. Many restaurants are closed Monday-Wednesday.

This was definitely one of the best parts of our stay in Taos. It's small, but the bedroom is large with plenty of room for our stuff. Loved the colorful decor! And the private patio, as well as the lovely common area. Hope we get to go back! Great place toweddiannanniversary!

La Casa was just what I was looking for. It was peaceful and quiet but still I could walk to The Plaza in less than 10 minutes. The furnishings were comfortable and really had that New Mexican charm. I highly recommend La Posada de Taos

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Posada. Our casa was perfect for two, and was very quiet. We were able to walk to the plaza and biked to the Taos Pueblo.

The casita is a lovely little house sharing property with a bigger house but its own space. We had a reserved parking space and a private outdoor sitting area. We shared a larger lovely courtyard with lots of flowers and trees. Inside we had a huge bedroom with a comfortable king size bed, a cozy living room and a bath with a jetted tub shower combined. It was perfect. There is a short walk to the town square.
