The Space:

Relax and reboot amid dazzling views of Taos and the mountains at this extraordinary estate. Made up of a main house and charming casita, this gated property boasts outstanding amenities and abundant social space. Take a short drive to browse boutiques or dine out at the restaurants of Taos Plaza. Downtown is also home to several museums. Taos Ski Valley is a little further.

Perfect your game on the on-sitePOP Tennis court, stroll peacefully through the stone walking labyrinth, and explore the adjacent orchard. Head up to the rooftop bar and sip a cocktail as the sun sets over the mountains. Or enjoy the private home spa -- complete with a jetted tub and fitness area. Both retreats offer full kitchens and a private hot tub -- perfect for soaking after a fun-filled day.

Make your way into the main house and unwind into vacation mode in the living area. Stretch out on the sofa bed, get cozy by the gas fireplace, and watch a movie on the smart TV. The well-equipped kitchen features thoughtful extras, including a wine fridge and Keurig. Dine together at the table, or perch at the kitchen bar. Luxury awaits in the primary suite, which features a gas fireplace and direct access to a deck. The en-suite bathroom is configured with a walk-in shower.

Just off the primary suite, a private spa area showcases a jetted tub and spectacular mountain views. A fitness room includes a smart TV, treadmill, stationary bike, free weights, and a pull-up bar. In the second bedroom find a smart TV and a powder room with a walk-in closet and sink.

Outside, a deck provides a grill and private hot tub. A spiral staircase leads to the incredible rooftop bar, complete with lounge seating and a fire table.

Guests in the casita can relax on the oversized armchair and stream their favorite shows on the smart TV. Discover stainless steel appliances and granite countertops in the kitchen. Thoughtful touches include provided K-Cups and tea. There’s seating at the kitchen bar, as well as the dining table. Enjoy drinks at the table on the private front porch and take rejuvenating dips in the private hot tub.

Vacasa was awesome and easy to work with. They were very communicative and super nice. The property that we stayed at was absolutely amazing. It was super clean, roomy and had everything that you needed to have an enjoyable stay. We will definitely be keeping this property for future visits to Angel fire. Our whole vacation was just amazing!

Very nice home that was clean and comfortable for our family. The gas fireplace was not working, which was a disappointment, but we did not need it for heating the home. The gas heater in the “bunk room” was not working, and local mgt offered to bring space heaters for use in that room. If it is snowy, 4 wheel drive or chains are definitely recommended. Overall really great place, with plenty of room for outdoor play with the kids also.

The home is located close enough to the ski slope (several summer options biking hiking) and the city center but far enough to feel like you are in the country. Easy to find because it is on a short well maintained road with easy access to the street and home. Even in the summer we found many things to do. The hiking trails and drives around the town are excellent. My daughter enjoyed the extra wide and deep soaker tub so bring some bubble bath for a good soak from a long day of Hiking or Skiing. The back deck is perfect for roasting marshmallows and grilling. The sunrise and sunsets are beautiful and you can watch the wildlife right from the living room (recliner on coach) or even the bedrooms or deck. Elk came across the valley as well as deer, little gray squirrels, and hummingbirds. Being 28 weeks pregnant, I enjoyed the recliner options and the comfortable couch. Spacious rooms for several families. Would be great for grandparents to have a grandkids vacation. Close enough for day trips to Taos, Santa Fe, or Red River. The mountain views and drives are less crowded then Colorado, and very accessible to those who cannot handle stairs. We will be back for sure as it was just like being at home away from home.

The pictures are accurate. The best part is the yard if you come in the summer. Nice hang out space for our group.
