THE CAPE at Watego's is sophisticated yet relaxed with a welcome home feel.
We want our guests to visit every year, as they would their own beach house.

The Cape is located in the heart of Watego's - Byron Bay's most prestigious location and enjoys Byron Bay's best views over Watego's beach. In addition it is located on a quiet lane behind and parallel to Marine Parade, allowing you to relax in a serene setting- away from the crowds. You will be enjoying incredible 180 degree oceanviews across a lush garden, and wake up to the sound of the sparkling ocean overlooking the bay from the comfortable King sized Bed.

The space

Light and sunny open plan living, dining & kitchenette with 180 degree views of Wategos beach.

The suite comes with its own ensuite, 2 TVs with foxtel and a massive private outdoor entertaining deck overlooking our private lush garden and beach.

Inside the natural hues and covetable furniture elevate the style stakes where guests gather around vast decks, surrounded by french panelling and raw oak floorboards & Brass fixtures and fittings with carefully chosen international pieces to create a contemporary Byron Bay feel.

Views of Paradise are all framed by floor to ceiling massive 7 meter wide sliding glass windows that open out to a vast entertaining deck allowing you to truly enjoy this irreplaceable setting.

Private, quiet and absolutely blissful, In the heart of Byron’s world renowned surfing and swimming beach.

The massive super comfortable king sized bed is furnished with gorgeous linens and an abundance of pillows to keep you in comfort.

Your adjoining large Ensuite with rain shower will keep you pampered.

Another gorgeous outdoor rain shower in the garden invites you to enjoy the views to the beach for an outdoor refresh on a hot summers day.

The outside deck boasts comfortable sofa seating inviting deliciously idle hours with transient indoor outdoor living by the beach.

Happy to give any tips when asked, we appreciate guest needs for relaxation and privacy and will respect that.

Other things to note

Complimentary French Champagne on arrival, you will also have some snacks and tea.

Footsteps away is the famous Rae's coffee cart providing coffee in the morning and Raes restaurant open for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Walk down to the white sandy beach for a morning swim or hit the lighthouse track for a breathtaking memorable hike to the lighthouse.

Alternatively choose the beach track to town for a morning breakfast or some retail therapy or drinks.

Byron Bay is the quintessential Aussie Beach Holiday. The Cape offers a luxurious escape in a spectacular destination that offers great rainforest walks, surfing, swimming, whale and dolphin watching and Australia's best restaurants all at Australia's most eastern Point.

For example you can learn to surf at the beach infront of our house, enjoy whale watching from the comfort of your outdoor deck, kayak the bay, hike the rainforest or lighthouse tracks around our property or go for a drive to Harvest restaurant in picturesque Newrybar for a county lunch.
