The Bunk House at River Hills

The space itself is great. There is a lot of room to spread out and relax. However, not everything works well and some of it appears unfinished. For example: the hot and cold knobs in the shower do not work properly, they do not completely shut off and they do not turn on easily. I could not tell if the tile is coming off or being put in around the vanity mirror and there seems to be two different tiles being used. There were exactly two bath towels in the space. There is no toaster in the kitchen. The flatware is a mix of remnants from several sets. The dinnerware is not a set for four of anything. The range is a harvest gold coil electric. I am not sure it works. The bed slopes towards what would be the headboard if there was a headboard. It slopes towards the wall. There is a lot of privacy that gets interrupted by someone blaring loud music that shakes the house from time to time. Otherwise, the place is awesome.

It is a great, dog friendly property. The owner is onsite and very friendly. She gave me tea in the mornings and offered me food when she cooked. The location is great, everything you need is very close. She even took my dog on walks with her pup while I was working! Definitely went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable.

Really lovely spot. The Bunkhouse is convenient and tidy. The unique design is like being in a treehouse...with all the creature comforts. The screened in porch is a great spot for coffee or wine with the birds. The landscape is full of many types of beautiful plant life. It has a relaxed vibe that added some extra wind-down time before leaving for our cruise. Only caution would be if stairs are a challenge....it is a bunkhouse in the trees. Would definitely stay again! ☮💙🌳🌴🌲😊

To sit in the screened in balcony is like being in your own treehouse listening to birds singing! The open floor plan was super with a private bedroom in the rear. Very quiet and peaceful.

The only issue I had was not being able to turn down the volume on the t.v.
