The Bungalow - Captiva Beach Cottage on Turner Beach

Great location. Temp air units didn’t keep space cooled down, but everything else was great.

As other reviewers have noted, property is dated. Appliances have rust. There was dead and alive bugs (huge ants and flies) in the kitchen and the living room area. Great location.

The beds were comfortable. The location was good. The kitchen was not acceptable. There were no teaspoons and what was there were missing rivets andwobbly handles. The pots and pans were in worse condition. There were two small glasses. Chipped dishes. The refrigerator was rusted and broken inside, it kept everything cold however no icemaker and only two ice trays kind of slim for the beach. The house was clean. The balcony railing was seriously loose. Lack of a bike trail leaving the house was very difficult. Will not be a repeat customer. Disappointed in Rosen Properties

This was a repeat visit for us. We love the open area for family visiting, the large kitchen area, the proximity to the beach path and the sunrise porch. We will be back!

this is the cutest place ever! my husband and I got married on Sanibel and we booked both of these homes for some friends to stay in. It was all so so perfect! Thank you for the beach toys and puzzles. It was so islandy and cozy.

Great location! Appliances rusted and should be updated. No ice maker, only one ice tray, and no drinking glasses. But management was great, overall we enjoyed it and would book again!

This property was clean enough and close to the beach. Plenty of towels were available and the beds were comfortable.A few things made up our mind not to stay at this property again. Firstly, nearly every appliance in the kitchen as well as the washer and dryer had rust on the interior and exterior. My husband went to get an ice cube for his drink from the freezer and it had rust particles on it. Secondly, the built-in ice maker on the outside of the fridge was broken and the stopper in the bathtub was not working. We let the owners know when we got there. They promised to send a tech the next day. No one came the entire time we were there. I am more of a shower person than a tub one but I just had foot surgery a few weeks before the trip and my doc prescribed me to soak in warm standing water at least once a day which I was not able to do. The last issue was that there was no carbon monoxide detector and the fire detector was ripped out of the wall.The microwave was the tiniest we have ever seen and the shower head made it highly unpleasant to take a shower. The owner offered 10% applied toward our next visit if we gave a good review but we just were not able to do that given all the issues. More consideration needs to be given to the guest and their overall vacation experience.

We had 2 couples, and we loved the bungalow. It was perfect for the access to the beach, the open floor plan, and access to the rest of the island. We rented a golf cart, which was a fun way to explore Captiva. We also rented bikes with the easy access to the bike trails. We pushed the twin beds together and used it for one of the couples. Great house and location. Very quick communication from the property owner.

We had a great stay at the Bungalow! The house was clean and in order, communication with the property manager was superb. The beach was so close for sunset watching every night. The bungalow is right at the start of the bicycle path to Sanibel, so couldn’t have been more perfect for us. We just loved it!
