The Bulldog Farmhouse - 100+ year old home

Cute place and great location. We would definitely stay there again. Only suggestion is to provide a top sheet in addition to the quilt.

Very clean & comfortable. Great beds, nice bathrooms, well appointed kitchen. We stayed for the GA State Swim Meet with 3 swimmers and families. There was plenty of room for our group. We would stay here again. Great house!

Conveniently located near the botanical gardens, where I had an event to attend. Well stocked with various amenities. Despite the age of the house, all the appliances and AC unit were modern and worked well. Only complaint was one of the three bathroom sinks was almost completely clogged and very slow to drain. Had to cross through living room or kitchen to access the the bathrooms. Overall very good rental experience.

As we visited family in the area, The Bulldog Farmhouse was a welcome and accessible retreat. Spacious, well-furnished, clean and comfortable, the house had everything that we needed for an extended stay. It is conveniently located to most places that one might want to go to in Athens. It is truly a home away from home.

I rented the Bulldog Farmhouse for a three week stay in June. One of the best perks of the property location was the Sweetie Pie by Savvie bakery that was literally next door. There is a Kroger, Publix, Aldi and Dollar Tree all within walking distance. Less than a mile from the property with sidewalks if you are so inclined. The farmhouse is over 100 years old, but it is equipped with all the latest conveniences. I particularly enjoyed the front porch with the rocking chairs and the back yard sitting area with fire pit. Although in June, we never lit a fire. The grill is a good quality model with multiple burners.The interior is nicely decorated and very clean. The Internet is very fast and there is a Mesh network setup to provide solid connectivity across the entire house. The management company were highly responsive to all of my requests. Staying for three weeks, I requested some additional supplies and they responded to all of my request immediately.The only cons I might mention are the outdoor lawns might need more attention during summer months when it is rainy. We played a number of outdoor yard games on this visit and mowing every two weeks was really not enough. As other reviewers have mentioned, the King room and Twin/Queen rooms are a bit warm in the evening, even with the AC set to 70 degrees. Portable fans would be a good upgrade.Overall, this was a wonderful experience and I will definitely stay here again on future visits to Athens.

The house was comfortable and relaxing

Able to access grocery and food places close by, we enjoyed the big yard, but only during the day time since lights were limited outside. The bed were comfortable but pillows were older. Two TV living rooms with great smart TVs was perfect! Take your own wood, lighter, and s’more sticks.It was clean and towels were great! Upgraded but because its old base the outlets are few.

Wonderful place to stay and conveniently located. The only suggestion I have is to put a fan in the middle bedroom, other than that it was perfect!

Fantastic property, plenty of space for a girls get away weekend. We didn’t use the outside space much, but early morning coffee outside was very peaceful! Location is GREAT, convenient to so many things! Our only small issue was a few unhoused individuals passing through the adjacent neighborhood - nothing the property management can do about that of course. House was clean, bathrooms were great, beds were cozy!
