Got a ‘keys to your stay’ email two days prior to stay but when we arrived 45 mins early from our long road trip hoping to get in early, realized there were no codes in my email and spent the next hour calling/ texting the host number to no reply and ultimately had to chat w customer service to get alternate # for host. Was a bit frustrating we didnt get in to leave our stuff and freshen up. We ended up leaving to begin our FSU visit and came back hours later and parking was a bit cramped but once inside the house and room were clean and neat, towels and linens all smelled fresh and clean and bed was very comfy and room was spacious. Plenty of room for putting things away.. a few hangers in the closet and a hand soap for the bath would’ve been a nice extra . Room was nice and cool and dark at and night but surprising amount of loud trucks pass-by even through the night. Ppl were friendly and the little rotary town had nice friendly shopkeepers and mostly antique stores and couple bakeries.. but all closed early and almost everything closed on sunday. Easy 35 min ride to visit Tallahassee. Check out was casual and we didnt have to be up and out by 11 so the sunday sleep in was nice!
The state was great! There was a little traffic noise but the property more than made up for that with the level of comfort cleanliness and hospitality. Beautiful home! I highly recommend it.
The host did everything to make us comfortable. Lovely grounds, will definitely be staying there again.
