Stayed Dec 31, 1969Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at the blue groper many times over the last ten years and keep coming back because the location is exceptional. However, the price has gone up and up and for the price now charged, we expect a bit more. This is a dog friendly property which is great, but unfortunately the couches and cushions during our last stay smelt very strongly of dog. Obviously people have been letting their pets inside and on the furniture. I suggest that after each guest, that the soft furnishings should be given a wash, not just sprayed with febreeze! Also some small changes like towel rails, clothes hangers, pegs, and a mattress topper on the very old and uncomfortable bed would go a long way to making the place more comfortable.

Stayed Sep 1, 2023We both really loved the rustic experience, it was reminiscent of holidays from our childhoods in the 70’s. The village of Diggers Camp is tucked away in a quaint and utterly serene natural setting that we relaxed deeply into and in fact found it difficult to pull ourselves from in order to return home! We will definitely be returning! Thank you
