House worked well for us and was well-stocked. Pool was incredible. Beds were super comfortable and area was quiet. Would recommend! Walk to closest public access to the beach from the house would be a fast-paced 7-minute walk. Otherwise would recommend driving 1 mile up the road where there is free parking next to the DoubleTree hotel and a public access spot. Ft Macon State Park also has free parking is a straight shot 3.5-mile drive from the house and has facilities like showers and restrooms.

Well stocked home and was exactly as listed, we enjoyed our stay!

Great house for a large crew! Lots of space to entertain and the pool was lovely to have as well. Plenty of essentials stocked in the house and the owner was very responsive. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful house with everything you need. Very comfortable furniture and beds. Master suite is a dream. Pool is amazing! It would be great if there were blinds/curtains on the front windows in the living area to block the afternoon sun and the street light at night. Also, it is a little difficult to cross the main road to walk to the beach.

The house is very well stocked with all of the kitchen needs and toiletry items. Pool towels were provided which was a plus for us along with bikes and pool/beach items. The house needs a little maintenance and a deep clean. Our host was very responsive to our needs. Atlantic Beach was a great spot for our family.

Big Dream Getaway was the perfect beach rental for our group of 12! We were here for a destination wedding in Beaufort and the location was so convenient. Stacy was an amazing host - incredibly responsive and helpful from start to finish. The house is beautifully decorated, and had ample room for our three families. The pool was great, and we enjoyed the large porches for morning coffee chats and evening beverages. Stacy added many thoughtful touches throughout, including greenery in vases that added a fresh, welcoming feel to the home. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked above expectations. Easy walk to the beach and plenty of backpack chairs, bikes, carts, and rolling coolers provided. We will return!

We had an amazing time in Atlantic Beach! The house was very clean and fully stocked. It’s such a pleasant surprise when all of the little things are supplied - hand soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, aluminum foil, ziploc bags, spices, etc etc. The house was in a great location, we walked 1/2 mile to the Boba shop everyday! The home had a ton of beach supplies and there were over a dozen bikes in the garage. Kids were in the heated pool everyday after spending time at the beach. It really was a great trip! We just finished a lovely week at the Big Dream Get Away, with 11 from our 3 generation family from across the world. The house was on a quiet street with a sense of privacy, despite the houses being close together. The interior spaces within house were lovely and our group enjoyed being all together on the front porch, back deck, living area, dining area, and also in the pool and its surrounding deck with shade in the morning and late afternoon. The bedrooms are delightfully decorated and well equipped with linens. My only note would be about the pull out couch on the ground floor room not being optimal for a couple (better for kids with young backs!). The location allowed us to easily reach the nearby public beach access on foot (10 min) or bike (3 min) and also to access all of the benefits of Atlantic Beach (also by bike), Emerald Isle and Morehead City. Stacy was very responsive with any question or needs. For example, we had items magically appear on the front porch a few times when we couldn't locate certain things! The extremely well equipped kitchen had more than ample utensils, pots, pans, glasses and plates for our group, as well as had a ton of standard items needed for cooking (spices, etc). We have been renting homes for summer vacations for about 25 years. The Big Dream Getaway was the best by far. The decor was beautiful. I have never seen a rental home provide so much for its guests. They had a lot of bikes, beach wagons, beach chairs, boogie boards, pools towels, games, etc. Most surprising, though, was how stocked the kitchen was from all the spices, pancake syrup, oil, baggies of all sizes, foil, and even ketchup in the fridge. They had shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet paper, etc. I brought many items from home that weren't necessary. We'll know next time. We were there during the tropical storm so we only got to go to the beach once. We were able to use the beautiful pool. The pool was cleaned twice during our stay, which is more frequent than other homes we've stayed in over the years. The only slight change I would suggest is to change the listing from 5 bedrooms to 4 bedrooms. There is a nice bonus room with a pull-out sofa, but I wouldn't consider that a bedroom. Our family, including our pets, had a wonderful experience. Stacy is so kind, thoughtful and attentive to every detail. We would love to go back.

We had the best stay at The Big Dream House. Everything was absolutely perfect! The house was clean and super comfortable. Stacy, the owner was attentive and ready to help or answer any question we had. The cozy sofas were perfect for rainy movie days, and the beds were so comfortable! We had 10 people and plenty of room in the house for everyone. The pool and pool lounge chairs were amazing! The house, furnishings, and linens were so nice and definitely an upgrade from your typical beach house. The Big Dream House has everything you need and has been our favorite rental!
