The Big Chill on Lake Norman

Very welcoming property, with excellent lake access. Property had ample amenities inside and out. The location is quiet and relatively private. Hosts keep a clean property, we will stay again!

Host was very easy to work with. The house is very clean, well stocked with anything we needed. Loved the backyard and access to the lake (even though it was a little cool out to get on the water!). When we come back to Mooresville, I'd definitely want to stay here again!

Great location convenient to everything! Best selling point fenced in back yard for pups! Need a covering for gate like chicken wire leading to dock as pups can go right thru! AC went out but was fixed in an hour or so. Still felt like house didn’t get cool! Owners were responsive and easy to work with. Patio furniture could have used a spray down overall great place. Oh if steps bother you this would not be ideal!!

This was a perfect property for my stay! Clean, beautiful home, the master bedroom was amazing, the fenced in yard was perfect for my pups, the dock and kayaks were great. Everything was super!

I can’t say enough about how lovely our stay was at the big chill! Spectacular views, a great location in a really nice neighborhood and located on a peaceful part of the lake. The house was well appointed and incredibly comfortable. Paddle boards and kayaks made lake time the best. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Having a fenced in yard for the dog was a huge plus. Great location on a quiet street. Owners were very responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

Came to visit family that live in Charlotte. Brother has a boat that he uses on Lake Norman and house was 5 minutes from where he stores it. Very convenient. Nice & quiet. Very clean. Looked just like the pictures. The only suggestion I would make is maybe drapes or blinds for the door in the living room for less light in the evening. Definitely plan on coming back next year.

Overall perfect property for a family looking for a quiet weekend away with a pup. Our dog loved the fenced in yard, as did we, and our kids loved fishing any chance we had!

The Big Chill on Lake Norman is our go to place when we visit family in North Carolina. The owners are super responsive, the house is well maintained and well furnished. The kayaks, paddle boards, and boat dock make enjoying the lake a breeze. Honestly I don’t have enough space to write all of the positive things to say about this place. Only one negative, the bathroom in the master bedroom only has a barn door instead of a locking regular door. Not great for privacy. Otherwise this place is amazing. 9.5 out of 10. Will stay here again.

I made last minute reservations due to my own home restoration; the house was very clean and in order for our stay. The dogs loved the backyard and the view was calming. Highly recommend.

It is exactly as stated!! Quiet, cozy, comfortable, and beautiful! It is amazingly decorated and we felt like it was our second home. We will definitely be staying here again. Wonderful wonderful place.!

We spent a few days in this gorgeous home on the lake. Absolutely immaculate and beautifully decorated with a very well stocked kitchen, fenced in back yard, located on a very quiet street. Extra towels in each bathroom as well as beach towels and so many other special touches. We had the most relaxing trip and definitely recharged our batteries!

We had a great time. The home was clean. We had plenty of space for all of us. Our dog loved the fenced in backyard. Our teenage boys enjoyed the kayaking and paddle boarding. The dock was perfect for our rental boat. The host was fabulous with communication. We would stay here again.

A fabulous stay with family and friends! The home is super cute, clean, comfortable and a great location. The lake views are amazing and the kayaks were used daily. The fenced yard was perfect for our 2 small dogs and it felt like home. All the furnishings were comfortable, our hosts went above and beyond making sure the home was ready, and we could not have asked for more. The home is very well appointed and cared for. We had everything we needed for a relaxing, comfortable vacation on the perfect spot on the lake. Can’t wait to come back!

The Big Chill is exactly as depicted in the listing. Very cute, clean and comfortable home in a great location. Close to restaurants and a great location on Lake Norman. Beautiful view from the deck and caught big fish off the dock. Fantastic fully fenced backyard and took advantage of the kayaks that came with the house. Great experience.
