A RATE NOTE: The rate that VRBO has posted above and under Rates & Availability is for 2 guests. If you have more than 2 guests staying, you will see an additional guest/night fee added during the booking/checkout process. We tiered the pricing so that fewer guests wouldn't incur the full nightly rate. (we've begged VRBO to update the posted rates to match the number of guests you've entered, but... not yet!) Now onto more pleasant topics. : )

Really great location. We cooked Thanksgiving meal with no issues and fully equiped kitchen. Some family visited and loved the views. Recommend the Millbrook village.
Everything about this house is exceptional. From the generous and lovely welcome basket to the well-appointed kitchen to the cozy, homey, thoughtful touches throughout this wonderful place. The sunsets were fantastic and the town of Millbrook is so picturesque with some excellent restaurants and shops. Sarah and Jonathan were super responsive and so kind. We can’t wait to return again and again.
The beautiful Beech House has everything you could need for a relaxing getaway. Sarah and Jonathan are incredibly thoughtful hosts, providing tons of amenities, placed perfectly for maximum ease and not at all cluttered or overwhelming. The location is secluded, yet super accessible to shops. The kitchen is well stocked, all living spaces are clean, comfy, and welcoming. Can’t wait to come back!
The beech house was the perfect place to enjoy time together as well as adventure in the area towns and festival. The views are wonderful and the amenities comfortable.
My wife and I spent a weekend at Sarah and Jonathan’s beautiful home. The place is gorgeous and impeccable, a short walk from downtown Millbrook which has a number of little restaurants and stores. We had a fantastic time and will be back!
This is our third time staying at the Beech House and needless to say, it was amazing. Jonathan and Sarah are incredibly helpful and gracious hosts. Always super responsive. The house itself is spacious and comfortable. Two huge Roku TVs, lots of board games and card games and children's toys. The location is perfect - walking distance to town but still on four secluded acres. The view from the back deck is breathtaking. We are already looking forward to our next visit!
We had a wonderful stay
The Beech House was gorgeous! It felt like home as soon as we walked in the door. So many personal and well thought-out additions were there - from the artwork, books, comfy beds, fully stocked kitchen. Sarah & Jonathan clearly love their property and it showed. And the views of the hills to the North, the magnificent trees and the deer that ambled by the kitchen window were special. We will return again! Thank you.
We stayed at the Beech House with our 3-year-old and her grandparents for a long weekend. The house is beautiful, exactly as listed, absolutely spotless, and very well stocked with all the incidentals that one might need. The beds, in particular, were very comfortable! Sarah and Jonathan were very quick to respond and lovely to communicate with. The house is very easy to find and very close to Millbrook with lovely views. We wouldn't hesitate to return! Thank you Sarah and Jonathan for a lovely stay :)
I can't say enough good things about this place! We stayed here over President's day weekend with my 6 year old, my wife, my in-laws and our boston terrier. There was ample space for all of us, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and the basement TV room was extra cozy. Loved the huge windows with great sunset views over the mountains. The quant town of Millbrook is a short 15 min hike down the hill with great food options (try the pizza at Barbaro!) To top it off, the owners are extremely responsive and hospitable. One night the internet went down and Jon immediately called me back and walked me through how to restart the modem - what service! We will definitely be back, Thank you for sharing your house with us.
Back again for another visit! We love this house. It's so well stocked that there was tons to do even on rainy (lots of toys and books) and snowy days (sleds!). Thanks for a great stay!
This is a fantastic home. The incredible amount of thought Sarah and Jonathan put into all the details really makes it a relaxing, comfortable, easy visit. There are many welcoming things in the house to pass the time and be cozy, but it is also very neat and organized. The property is a perfect blend of secluded/scenic and convenient access to the charming town a few minutes away.
We brought my 89 year old mother here for a brief getaway, and we were thrilled. The house and surrounding property have a wonderful spirit of peace and beauty. The deck is wonderful, with an expensive view of the mountains, and the sunsets were stunning. The main floor of the house is full of glass, so that light streams in on two sides. It’s not easy to feel at home when you are staying in a rental, but the owners are wonderful and have set everything up so that we could immediately relax and enjoy this magical place. We hope to return soon!
This is a well -organized, clean and comfortable property. No complaints at all. The setting is beautiful and the location was perfect. Our hosts were on top of everything.
We traveled to NY with parents to visit a sister living in Millbrook. The house was absolutely perfect. I think it had more kitchen gadgets than we do at home! Everyone had enough space to do their thing. Super comfortable beds. Close to town. Very quiet neighborhood. Proactive and responsive hosts. Would definitely stay here again!!!
We loved it and highly recommend it for others!
My husband and I and our golden retriever stayed here for a week. Fantastic views of the sunset and Catskills in the distance. Very comfortable home and very well appointed. Our dog loved running on the hillside and rolling in the grass. We loved the homes open floor plan and the solitude of the property. The town of Millbrook is the definition of bucolic and within a half hour of several points of interest including FDR home, Library and museum, Vanderbilt mansion, The Culinary Institute of America, the towns of Rhinebeck, Red Hook, Hyde Park. Our hosts, Sarah and Jonathan were incredibly responsive to any questions we had and took great care to leave instructions for everything in the home. They even left us a nice bottle of wine and a goodie basket! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.
Perfect for families with pets. Super clean, very beautiful inside and out. Very close to town. My favorite was the views, The quite country roads. Sarah and Johnathan are very easy to communicate with and very nice. 100% recommend this house.
I stayed here with my husband and adult children for my son's graduation weekend. Both the hosts and the home are truly lovely. Amazing communication from first inquiry to arrival/departure. The home is very clean, comfortable and well equipped and has a beautiful view of the countryside. The weather wasn't so cooperative during our free day of the weekend, but we definitely would have enjoyed sitting out in the Adirondack chairs with a glass of wine and just enjoying the view. While it is located in a very quiet and peaceful spot, it is just a short drive into the town of Millbrook. We don't have any young children anymore, but I did see there was a pack and play in the closet and there were also toys and games (games for adults, too: ). We had a wonderful stay!
Over all the house is a lovely mix of MCM and nice modern details:) Everything was well documented (how things needed to be done and where things were)
Great to watch the sunsets from the deck and windows, great to watch movies in the den of the Damned at night. A wonderful stay as always
