It’s a pity that these kinds of beach houses are becoming rarer and rarer, replaced by unattractive concrete buildings along the waterfront. Perhaps places like this should be protected as heritage to preserve their character and spirit.My sincere thanks to the owner for allowing me to experience this.

It's just amazing to fall asleep and wake up to the lapping of the water and total serenity. One small suggestion it would be great if the property had a hair-dryer.

we had a lovely relaxing few days ,very enjoyable. we did however have shoes stolen off the back porch so really need to lock all valuables inside and when we left we contacted the property manager to let them know we left our ghd straightener on the hat rings in the bedroom and have not heard back from them if it was located so this was disappointing but the property and house amazing

Our experience overall was very pleasant. Comfortable for our family of 5 with amazing views right on the beach, kids loved it and it was extremely convenient for us to enjoy the sand and swim. Home was clean and modern with everything you need for comfort.

Soldier’s Point is a quiet residential area. Pub, Bowling Club, Sailing Club and Rick Stein’s restaurant, at Bannisters Hotel, are only a few minutes walk along the beach. Shops and Marina (with 2 restaurants) are a 5 minute drive away. Good communications and service from host Kayleigh, at “Stay Port Stephens”. Highly recommended.

Great amenities, clean and comfortable but above all the location is the real star. Walking distance to restaurants, bars and shops but you also have the amenities to not leave this glorious peace of paradise. Will definitely return.
