This place was amazing! Lots of room for a family, close to Decorah, and the hosts are amazing!

Excellent accomodations and friendly host. Fresh eggs were terrific!

The Barn House Lodge was a quiet location on the side facing the Turkey River. There was a noisy truck coming and going from the neighbor's property. It was nice to be able to walk to the amazing Bily Clock Museum and St. Wencelaus Church. There were a lot of supplies, even farm fresh eggs! It was handy to have two bathrooms and three bedrooms with ample places to sleep. Christine was super responsive to the concerns we shared.

This place was very unique! Great stay! Friendly hosts!! Cleaned our car off and shoveled the snow to the front stoop so it was cleaned when left! Also gave fresh eggs for breakfast!!!!!

If I could leave 10 stars I would. The Barn was a wonderful place to stay. Very spacious and welcoming. The hosts were amazing, and the hospitality was second to none. When I need to go back to that area, I will choose this place again. Well Done!!

We were a group of 5 sisters on the NE IA Art Tour. Enjoyed our stay at the Barn House Lodge, it was perfect for us. Comfortable, nicely renovated, comfy beds, stocked kitchen, beautiful deck and backyard, special touches like farm fresh eggs, cute decor. We didn't want to leave the place, and we will definitely be back again.

Incredibly charming! The hosts have done such a cute job decorating in a way that highlights this old barn. The back yard is stunning with a peaceful flowing river at the back. There was plenty of room for throwing around a football and playing cornhole. We were able to chat with both Kevin and Christine and found them each to be delightful. The farm fresh eggs in the fridge was a lovely surprise and oh so yummy. The location was perfect as it was just a hop, skip, and jump away from Luther College. We will definitely stay again.

The barn lodge was a very nice place to stay. Hosts were very kind and even asked us before mowing the lawn behind the barn. We had plenty of room, and much peace & quiet. Made it easy to relax during our stay. The only problem with our stay was the town working on water mains and fire hydrants so the roads in town were all tore up. Made it hard to walk around and explore the town. Nothing the hosts can do about that. We made it work.

Would rent this beautiful property again. Owners are friendly and the property is great!!

A great property in a beautiful setting. Quiet neighborhood to hang out and relax. Super convenient to Decorah and Toppling Goliath. Our host greeted us on arrival and were warm and welcoming. I highly recommend the Red Barn!

The property was quiet and peaceful--just what we were looking for in a get away! The barn house was beautiful, and check-in very easy. The river in the back of the property was very scerene. We would definitely go back.

We enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the Barn. Christine was a wonderful host. We had a question regarding the Wi-fi and she stopped by personally to help us. We ended up visiting for at least a half hour. We had everything we needed for our stay. We highly recommend this property!

The property was clean and comfortable! The back porch was a great place to hang out in the morning with our coffee and sit in the evening after our day of exploring in Decorah! We will most likely choose to stay here again as Decorah is a midpoint for the four of us. Thanks for a great stay!

The property was well maintained and comfortable. The grounds were spacious and provided a peaceful setting. We were there for graduation at Luther College and the trip into Decorah was less than 15 minutes. The chickens on the property were a bonus for the kids and Christine was very hospitable and easily available. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
