This place is a hidden gem! Tucked back in a snow covered sanctuary. Every thing we needed after long days on fatbike & skies. Hot shower peaceful nights and beautiful views . Kitchen was well equipped all the personal touches made us feel very at home. We ŵill definitely stay again and hopefully get to explore more of the grounds with snowshoes that were provided . Are only regret was our stay was so short!

We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend for the holiday & family reunion. It was such a wonderful area, home & perfect for some of the family to gather and feel right at home. A fuse blew in one of the bedrooms & the owners were able to get it back up & running quickly. Beautiful location & very well maintained. Highly recommend!

The Barn is located on a lovely property. It is secluded and peaceful. Behind The Barn is a trail that takes you through the woods. The cabin is tastefully decorated and comfortable. We can't wait to stay here again!

What a find! Spent a long, snowy spring weekend enjoying all The Barn had to offer—including comfy beds, a warm wood stove, a well stocked kitchen, and a deep soaking tub. The views of the forest and meadows from the windows were ideal. The trails just outside the front door, even better! The property is near enough to Cable or Hayward to be convenient and suck used enough to be peaceful. I will be back!

What a gen of a place in Cable, WI. The unique living space is a perfect complement to the woods and meadows that surround it. Every corner of The Barn was made for a relaxing retreat--from the super comfortable beds, warm woodstove, well-stocked kitchen, deep soaking tub, ample couches, and giant windows looking out to nothing but fields and forest. Whether staying cozy inside or adventuring outside, near or far, The Barn is an ideal homebase to all NW Wisconsin has to offer. We hiked the trails just outside the front door and scooted into nearby Cable and Hayward as needed. The Barn hosts were available and attentive to any needs yet provided all the privacy one wants on a trip to the country. I will be back, for sure!

Furniture was not that comfortable, but the beds were nice. Windows were very dirty so wea not enjoyable to look out, along with hundreds of flies.Kitchen was setup nicely. Walk was uneven , tripping hazard..

If you are looking for a modern, all the latest comforts, this is not the place for you. But if you want a unique, genuine, country barn experience, this is the best. While you can stay, cool or warm, and have all the necessities and more, this truly is a barn and the owners have gone to great lengths to keep its authenticity. We spent 3 days here and we were still seeing new things. It’s like a timeline, they have things there they have kept from the beginning of the farm. My absolute favorite was walking miles of mowed paths through their fields and smelling the acres of oregano growing. There were acres of various herbs growing in the wild. As an avid gardener for over 30 years, this place refreshed my soul. Our daughter, son in law, and our only granddaughter (7 months) were with us and both loved the place. Our son in law wants to take his family there. Just an fyi, Northland Rentals say bring towels, and say there’s minimal toilet paper and paper towels, this was not true. They had plenty and also had complete kitchen supplies like we’ve seen in numerous vacation rentals.

We had a lovely time staying at The Barn. It was a unique place but had what we needed to crash after a day kayaking on the Boi Brule River. The kids enjoyed exploring the trails behind the house and playing some badminton.
