The balcony of the Angiol d'Or

We loved the Balcony apartment! Starting from the warm welcome by Antonia, the owner we felt like we were hosted by friends. The apartment location was fantastic, close to everything in the historic centre. We were pretty impressed by the efficiency of air conditioning. It kept us cool in the warm weather. The bathroom and the kitchen were adequate. We never had any problems with hot water or any of the appliances. The washing machine was a nice bonus that allowed us to do our laundry. It really helped as we were traveling with carry-on luggage. Our compliments and thanks go out to Antonia. Grazie mille!!!

This was our first failed vRBO booking. There was no on-site parking, Waze could not locate the address. The property manager did not confirm or respond to our communication until 24 hours before we were to arrive, which was very stressful. We could not control heat or cooling, and it was so hot we left after one night and incurred a much larger expense elsewhere because we could not tolerate the temperature. The old bed is hard and creaky.

There is not enough room here to tell you how wonderful the apartment was, and how lovely our host was. The apartment sits right next to the magnificent Duomo, literally in the heart of Parma’s historic district, with a charming balcony overlooking the piazza. The apartment is a true home, with everything one might need, including a small but very well-equipped kitchen. The area was quiet, uncrowded and wonderfully walkable, close to parks, museums, charming shops and outstanding restaurants, the best of which was the beautiful restaurant owned by our host, located just downstairs from the apartment.A fabulous experience in every way.

This is an amazing option for a stay in Parma. The apartment is cozy, but very comfortable and well appointed. The bedroom and living area are large for European standards. The location, right next to the Duomo, and walking distance to everything to see in Parma, is incredible. The apartment also has great WIFI, very effective air conditioning and a European style washing machine that is great for mid-trip socks and under garments. The host, Antonia, is a true gem, and she was very helpful both before and during our visit and made our time in the beautiful city of Parma even better.

We stayed here for 5 days and had a wonderful time. Our hostess was delightful and so helpful. The apartment is centrally located to the beautiful Duomo, restaurants, and shopping. The train station is a 10 minute walk. The apartment itself is charming and comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked. The owners operate a restaurant, the Angiol d’Or, right next door! It specializes in seasonal Parma specialties and is not to be missed. We highly recommend this property!

A truly enchanting place to stay in Parma, Highly recommend it. We’re going to suggest our son stay here for part of his honeymoon. Balcony opens onto Duomo Piazza, a beautiful spot, each afternoon lovely music was played by an accordion player. Antonia, our hostess was very very nice and extremely helpful. She even got us the last table available at her restaurant right next store. The meal was exceptional and my wife our foodies who have dined at numerous Michelin star restaurants during our month trip to Europe. Walking the city was a real pleasure and it was beautiful.

Our first visit to Parma and a great success. Excellent stay in quirky and comfortable apartment with all the necessary facilities and next to the Duomo, so in the middle of the centre. Easy and very helpful communication with the owner, including arranging parking around the corner. And many thanks to Antonia, who was always availabe for help and support.

Two nights was not enough! Great location, Antonia was wonderful, and she has a great restaurant right next door. We could have stayed there forever!

The hosts were incredibly helpful, their restaurant is awesome and the apartment and location were terrific. Can’t say enough good things.

Spacious, well equipped and comfortable, perfectly located for exploring the city on foot.
