Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Tern Inn every year for a number of the past years, four or five, & we have booked for next year. We love staying there. We love the porch overlooking the Channel. I sit there enjoying the view of Assateague Island. Sometimes the ponies are out & about. I bring a pile of books & just read, read, read. We read the New York Times & Washington Post daily & the Island Foods Grocery put aside copies for us each day. And then there are the beach & the wildlife loop on Assateague. staying there is a great chance to slow down & relax.

Reviewer Comments: We come back to Chincoteague every year, and always stay at different places. This has been one of our favorites yet! Very clean, great view! Everything you need to stay for a week! It was just my husband and I, but easily could have comfortably had more people stay with us. Loved the double balconies. We ate outside pretty much all week when we weren't out to eat. Very reasonably priced as well. Fishing was a little rough from the docks because the dock sits back between the neighbors and the current was very strong so we didn't get to do much fishing from there and went elsewhere. All in all, we'd definitely stay here again!

We were able to walk to Memorial Park in 5 minutes and Pony Swim Lane in 15 minutes, and watched the swim back from the upstairs balcony. Unit was clean and as pictures and we would stay here again.

Stayed Jul 22, 2023Love being able see the pony swim from the balcony The townhouse was adequately furnished and kitchen was nicely equipped. The final morning dolphins were swimming by the dock.
