Norris Lake is one of the cleanest in the country and was created by the Tennessee Valley Authority's damming up the Clinch and Powell Rivers, making a huge reservoir. The clear blue-green water spans 5 counties, 800 miles of shoreline, and over 33,000 acres of water surface. It's absolutely magical here!
We are located in a quiet, tranquil cove. Sound echoes and noise travels. Many of our neighbors live here year-round and are here for the tranquility. We ask that you respect the neighbors. The Lake is a great, fun place. Please enjoy it but save loud music, loud noise, and horse play for the Lake, not the cove.

-No loud music (All music must be played at a normal listening level on the dock or decks) Please try to keep all music inside the house after dusk.

-No loud noise

-NO FIREWORKS OF ANY KIND

-No-wake zone in the cove. Boats and jetskis must operate at idle speed until out of the cove. Wake produced by boats or Jet ski can cause serious damage to other boats that are on the neighbors docks. Personal injury may also result from moving too fast on watercraft so close to other people and property.

-Do not lean on the screens or railing of the screened in back deck.

-No smoking in the house or the deck. If you do smoke outside, please dispose of the cigarette butts safely and properly.

-Empty trash in the trash cans under the carport.

-Dishwasher- please only use the dishwashing detergent we provided. Do not put Dawn in the dishwasher.

-Please respect the neighbors (noise levels, etc.)

-Please help yourself to anything you find in the closets, drawers, or cabinets BUT return things where you found them.

A very nice property with very responsive hosts. We had an issue the first day and the hosts can be commended for their concern and quick response. Knowing its the end of the summer season, the included amenities at the dock exceeded expectations.

Our family loved this cozy, quaint spot. It’s wonderfully stocked with the essentials and has that modern farmhouse/lakehouse vibe I love. We will stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was stocked with the basics. It was clean. There were a lot of steps to the lake but the reward was being able to keep our boat at the covered dock. We were there in the beginning of September and the lake water level was drawn down quite a bit but there was 17' under our boat in the dock at the time. The house is toward the end of a small cove which cuts down a bit on waves beating your boat around at the dock. (Although you still get plenty of waves.) The kitchen was stocked with necessary items and even some perks like a crock pot. There was a Keurig and also a regular coffee pot in the cupboard. There were plenty of basket liners. There was plenty of hot water. The countertop ice maker was an unexpected bonus. This house is not very close to a marina. Make sure you bring any groceries you may need. There is a nice community boat ramp so you don't have to drive to a marina to put your boat in and out. There isn't cellphone service at the house but there is wifi. Make sure you enable wifi calling on your phone before you get there. The firepit was fun and we make hobo pies on it one night. We would love to stay here again.

This house is actually better than described or in reviews. Jen's attention to details is perfect. The amenities are over the top and well thought out. House is super clean and comfortable. The back screened in porch is perfect in every way. The air conditioning is strong and consistent which is not always the case in Tennessee lake life. Unfortunately our daughter tore something in her knee on the 3rd day, and the house itself is set up perfectly for someone who is unable to get around well. Dock life is outstanding. Boat slip is big enough for something quite a bit bigger than our 23' runabout. It is nestled back in a cove and mostly resistant to waves, but close to main lake attractions. MY kids LOVED the lily pad and kayaks and used them daily. Jen is diligent to make sure you have what you need in your stay and cares about feedback which is awesome. It should be noted the stairs are ever present to and from the dock (140 ish stairs) but manageable. The location on the lake is fairly close to town and roads in and out are easily navigated. I would highly recommend the property for your vacation.

We went to Jen’s place for a quick Spring Break trip. The house was impressively clean! The weather was chilly, but that didn’t stop my kids from using the kayaks and jumping on the lily pad. There was a slight issue with the water heater.Jen was quick to respond and she had a plumber out to fix it asap. Thank you for a lovely time!

We had a great long weekend at Jen’s lake house! Had everything we needed and our dog especially loved the lake! It was too chilly to swim but the view was beautiful! Enjoyed the antique fair in Clinton!
